Seventh entry in the Metal Slug series. Just like Metal Slug Advance and the Neo Geo Pocket Color titles, it remained console only. Each character has their own attributes, such as 2x power for the pistol, extra ammo, extra melee power, among others. This video shows the Arcade mode, played on Hard. As for Combat School, it's pretty much like in the PSX version of Metal Slug X, you replay the main levels with challenges/conditions added in.

this should have been on the Wii and later on the dreamcast successor and ps3 and Xbox 360. what the XX remake had should have been saved for at least an eighth entry proper in the series. one of the two characters from the advance metal slug game and one of the two new characters from the fourth entry should have been playable alongside fio in the eighth game which should have come out on the Xbox 360, ps3, dreamcast successor and Wii U a few years after KoF 13, possibly early to middle of 2013 way before the new consoles came out in november. a ninth entry should have happened during the ps4/Xbox One cycle around releases such as contra: rouge corps, mortal kombat 11, dead or alive 6 and crash bandicoot 4 in 2019, or around releases of street fighter 5: champion edition and resident evil 8 in 2020 a few years after SNK heroines: tag frenzy and a few months before ps5 and Xbox series X launch. this arabian antagonist that appeared in the second on third game along with allan o'neil, morden's right hand man would be good picks for bosses alongside shin shishioh and jazu in a future kof game too.

Lol this one is a little sin for me. I was a huge MS Fan when this came out back then. I had just a handful of money. What to do with it? Take the money make it trough the rest of the month or spend it on the hot new Metal Slug? Guess what lol
