Longplay of Sonic Colors

Here we have Sonic Rush 3 AKA sonic Colors for DS. It's probably one of the best sonic games I've played personally, I'd put it on the same category as wii version of unleashed. The game has a very well designed level structure and unlike say Sonic Rush 1 it doesn't rely on "whoops sudden deathpit" as much to increase difficulty. There's less powerups than in the Wii version of colors but all of them feel allot better implemented into the level structure compared to the home console version which at times felt like duckt-taped gimmick fest inserting wisp spots for no reason other than to increase your score. Also no weird screen gimmicks the only time you have to touch the bottom screen is when you need to capture a new wisp at the start of each world. Music is the same as the wii version just more compressed (sadly there's no more jet set sonic OST) but it still sounds very good. All in all absolutely fantastic game that was heavily overlooked compared to the Wii version. Give it a go you won't regret it

@@year2kill06 Passwords haven't been used since 1996. I don't know where the option is cause I played on the emulator but it's possible it just autosaves.

This isn't as hot a take nowadays, but I think this is better than the Wii version by a SIGNIFICANT margin. The story is better written, the levels aren't as blocky, the Wisps are better integrated into the gameplay rather than just being gimmicks, and it doesn't pad itself nearly as much with short, gimmcky Acts. (there are still short gimmicky missions but they're not required to finish the game plus they've got some neat cameos).

For the best experience for this game, and for a reminder on how the DS screens are usually positioned when the DS is fully opened, please arrange the DS screens vertically for an emulator, make sure to place the main screen on the top, and make sure to place the touch screen on the bottom. Please do not forget to move the buttons for the DS emulator away from the touch screen.

That was a day! I did played that game on the Nintendo DS back in the day and I knew this is different compared to the Wii Version. It has some Sonic Rush Vibes as I thought compared to 2 Sonic Rush Games. thx for uploading the longplay video man! 😇👍🏻💙

This was my first video game ever. I still have it. I still love it more than the actual Sonic Colors on the Wii. Also this game is portable and plays smooth. Much more than the Switch version can say.

Yes i actually didn't like colors on wii, it wasn't broken or anything but it just didn't live up to the stage design or the sheer amazingness of the wii version of unleashed(even if the only good part of that game was the day stages). But this was an absolute blast. It actually felt like what unleashed on ds would have played like,the sense of speed the control response and no unnecessary gimmicks that halt the experience.
