Longplay of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz

It's Super Monkey Ball with the Wii motion controls. Overall a pretty fun game with fairly low difficulty except for the two bonus worlds which are really tough. The game also features a total of 50 mini-games which ironically is the majority of this video. Some of the minigames such as Monkey Race feature more than one racing tracks but I didn't feel compelled to show all of them. There's also a few minigames that have terribly annoying motion controls and are literally unplayable. One of them being Monkey Golf. I couldn't land a single hole. Fortunately I don't require to win any of these minigames as I'm merely showcasing them. Unless you're a major fan of motion controls, I'd suggest you to just buy SMB2 (which also runs on the Wii) as it also features a ton of stages and minigames and can be played with the controller instead. If you really want to play this version, but can't stand motion controls like me, there's always the HD re-release for the Switch/XBONE/PS4.

I used to and STILL play the hell out of this game along with Sonic and the Secret Rings! Good ol 2000's, good old 2000's.

This game's soundtrack is just amazing. Especially Smooth Sherbet, Detritus Desert, Sinking Swamp, Pirate's Ocean, and Cobalt Caverns

Super Monkey Ball didn’t start out on the GameCube. Before the GC game there was an arcade game called Monkey Ball that worked the same but used a special banana-shaped joystick to control the tilting of the stage

For me it was decent at the time but I got rid of it because of the crappy motion controls and it was a Wii launch title, like how Super Monkey Ball 1 was for the GameCube By the way, I recently got Step & Roll once again, and out of the two Super Monkey Ball games released on the Wii, in Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll your still forced to use motion controls but however the motion controls are slightly better in that game where you no longer have to twist the Wii remote and their is no more bosses in that game, and however Step & Roll has no jump option you can unlock like there is in Banana Mania

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD has 10 minigames instead of 50, as well as better graphics (especially for the XBOX One).
