Longplay of Swingerz Golf/Ace Golf

I found this pretty enjoyable in the beginning but as the difficulty ramps up it's not so fun anymore. Most of these courses take about 20-30 minutes and if you mess up on one hole by scoring a double bogey, there's a good chance you'll have to re-do the entire course. Whilst that is the case with probably all golfing games, atleast the Tiger Woods games are focused less towards a "story" mode and allow you to level up your character through any of the modes (including free play). With that aside, the game plays pretty good even compared to Tiger Woods (which in my opinion is literally the golden standard for golfing games)... and it features very different graphics and characters to play with that some people might prefer over the more realistic golfing games out there. All in all not bad, especially if you enjoy golfing games.

My Dad and I played this on release and are still playing it now 20 years later. Once a week we have this game and whiskey, going through the missions at the moment. One of my top games of all time.

Everything from the UI, animations, it's extremely similar. The biggest difference is how you determine accuracy. I wouldn't be surprised if they took "inspiration" from Hot Shots Golf 3

If you want a strangers opinion, I'd recommend Mario Golf over this one. Both are fun but I enjoyed Mario Golf Toadstool Tour a little bit more. Not to be confused with the original Mario Golf on N64 which is also fun unlike the new iteration Super Rush which completely takes the skill of lining up your shot with distance and accuracy based on lie, elevation, and wind, out of the game. Instead some genius thought it would be fun to make you want to destroy your Switch because it says go go go every 5 seconds. Instead of hitting the ball, you run after it. It was obviously developed by a non golfing nitwit.

Oh no, it does. Not sure how much market this game anyway, but I feel like the name certainly didn't help it gain popularity stateside. Ace Golf is a much better name, I think.
