​​@@zawarudo1041It's actually pretty tired always bringing up the 'Remember when they called Onigiri doughnuts' 4kids bs every time localization gets involved bc like it or not a game, especially one like Ace Attorney would make zero sense translated one to one, unless you go the fansub route of needing to add an additional note or glossary every time a name pun is used or something contextual that would only make sense if you knew Japanese was mentioned, which seems like a hassle just bc someone confused a jabot for a cravat. It's a skill to have to marry the localization choices made in the first game with the others in the series(Like having this be an alternate LA where Japanese immigrants were allowed to settle during the gold rush to explain Kurain village) without causing big rifts or confusion.

@@zawarudo1041 Except no, the localizers changed the game's script with the context in mind (why are all of the name puns the way they are, it's because the Ace Attorney localizers used the same puns as the original Japanese too, heck Kura'in's puns were so bad because that's straight up a direct translation of the Japanese intent), and the game's scripts aren't actually different between the two Also, the first game was designed with an English localization in mind, which is why it's very ambigious what country it is in PWAA Also, sometimes localizers find good concepts that translate well (Asterix from the original French to English, the dog's name is Ideefix in French, and becomes Dogmatix in English, for an non-AA example)

Its a unique animation of an antagonistic character giving up the fight. Yes it is weird to call young Kay an antagonist, but she did spend a part of her case just sneaking up on Edgeworth to kick him. Plus Gumshoe works against Edgeworth to hide her involvement in the case.
