So awesome - glad to see "meat" farmers can change...people are just brainwashed to believe you need to eat meat, that you cannot replace this source of protein - when in reality there are so many better sources, that it turns out, are 100% cruelty free (although I have heard that even grass screams when you cut it! haha) and 100% (figuratively speaking) healthier. Was nice that her main problem was that she was taking babies from their mamas, cuz it is soooo true. Animals are so smart and so very social. This needs to be mainstream, hope this social change towards treatment of animals is coming full-steam!!

I feel profoundly culpable for so much needless and barbaric suffering I helped to cause over my lifetime. It sounds like this lady is carrying a great trauma because she witnessed the brutality first-hand. I wasn’t certain whether their initial motivation to switch from livestock farming was financial rather than compassion but either way they have clearly had a major epiphany.

The wife looks so heartbroken, full of guilt, and remorseful... As a fellow vegan, I have a lot of respect for you for breaking out of such conditioning and striving to turn something bad into something good. Unfortunately, the animals killed in your farm will never get their lives back, but the important thing is that you are practicing redemption now and moving forward to do better things for the environment, the animals, etc. This is a rare awakening in the general population (veganism), much less for farmers. I hope your mushroom farming prospers and you all experience complete happiness, abundance, and prosperity for yourselves and your families♡ Thank you again 🥰

Good work! I've never eaten meat, well my whole immediate family is vegetarian or vegan, as well as a bunch of nephews, nieces, aunties etc... From growing up veg, it's never even crossed my mind that we need meat. I've been vegan for about 7yrs too.. But it took me a while to give up milk products I was pretty addicted (never ate eggs tho).. It's a journey. U might fall off the wagon sometimes but just get back on and don't give up. I'm not deficient in anything. And never struggled with deficiencies either. And as far as I know none of my veg family members struggled with any either. Just wanted to share my experience and hopefully inspire u to realise its very possible. Just remember our digestive system is accustomed to what it's used to. So u may have some weird experiences or problems absorbing iron etc at first but none of that is permanent. It truly takes a while for ur gut to develop a whole new "eco system" of enzymes, gut bacteria, and digestive juices that are tailored to ur new diet. I think as long as ppl include fruit, veges, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, u really can't be deficient on a veg diet.

What could be better now we appreciate what health powerhouses they are! Thsnk you again. You are truly an inspiration to farmers. Professor-E

Factory farming is evil and Tyson is head demon of that industry. But it also shows how this awful corporate environment that is allowed to control our lives - and those disgusting suckers get bonuses for ruining us. However, I need a different option than mushrooms. I used to love them, but became allergic to them. About 5 years ago I stopped eating them at all because I would be violently sick after even a portabello burger. Bellas, buttons, straw, shitake. All made me sick within 4 hours.
