@6:15 the Destroyer wont attack you if you take cover and shoot between the doorway. He's very spongey!

Tip for whoever comes in here. If you and your party manage to sit by the observer terminal before the Engineers go aggro, you should be able to let them come to you without the Destroyer becoming hostile and spawning Observers. Once you and your party deal with the Engineers, full unload on the destroyer, it will not move as long as you stay far enough. Also help yourself with some tech and fire combos. In this battle, it’s easy to get overrun but this way, you’ll cheese it every time.

Playing in 2022: I'm level 24, with rather good armor and weapons (I can take a destroyer down in four shots), and I can't get past the progenitor and the destroyers. I think this level is buggy or something because it shouldn't be that difficult.

I think they were supposed to be used for something. I think they removed that because of lack of time. But then again I did find a treasure chest which required the glyphs to open back in eos. I don't if there's similar chests like that in other vaults.

Don’t know if you still need this but if you destroy the turret arms then it’s a lot easier and fasyer

When I watch footage of Mass Effect gameplay my usual criticism is: not enough power use. People used to traditional FPS games tend to lean on weapons and treat powers as grenades, but that's missing the point of ME combat. Correctly deployed, powers can wipe dozens of low level enemies even on Hardcore or Insanity. Using priming powers to weaken enemies and then following up with combo trigger powers can deal huge amounts of damage to armoured or boss level enemies. Singularity and Incinerate are great primers. Singularity synergises well with Shockwave for pure Biotic users. Charge and Energy Drain are great triggers because they restore Shields and trigger combos. Invasion at max level is DEVASTATING against groups of weakened enemies. Priming a group of enemies and then using Biotic Charge to trigger the combo does huge AoE damage and drops you into the heart of a group of enemies that are now weakened and stunned and allows you to move to weapons like the Reegar. The Reegar with incendiary ammo is fantastic because it is then strong against both shields and armour. Using customised Armour and Weapons also helps. It's possible to carry a Black Widow, Reegar Carbine and N7 Valkarie and still have the 100% default cooldown bonus. This will let you power-power-shot your way through even the largest groups. The Valkarie is awesome with the Beam conversion augment. Destroyers seem tough, but careful use of cover and understanding their behaviour makes them easy to deal with. You can duck into range of a destroyer and induce it to start it's close range melee attack. Once begun charging, the attack can't be aborted and it pins the Destroyer in one place, unable to use range attacks, so if you find yourself too close to a Destroyer and taking direct fire, get just close enough for just long enough and it will change tactics, allowing you time to deploy something like Singularity and then reposition before the ranged attacks begin again. Dropping a singularity on a Destroyer can also catch nearby enemies, dragging these now primed enemies into the area of the Destroyers, all set up for a chain trigger (maxed out Invasion is great for chain detonations of many pre-primed enemies).

This is fucking ridiculous. I been rolling thru the game and get here and cant even do anything. Then they reset the damn boss when I had to get ammo. I destroyed both turrets (which took alot of damn work) just for them to reset. They should be ashamed to even call this shit a boss. Its spam

I disagree with the method that you completed this vault. You took advantage of the fact that you didn't need to scan the glyphs before solving the puzzle, which you probably already had the solution for. I think this would have been better if you had completed this vault in the proper order, instead of quickly defeating the enemies, then going back to open doors and collect items later.
