The Pyramids kicked Lonnie's arse into a gear he hadn't been in for years - and he loved it!

My dad was a drummer in a skiffle band that played working mens,Irish clubs in Manchester . He’s in his early seventies now. I’ll send him this , he’ll love it. Cheers. For taking the time to put these videos on KZbin.

SPLENDID - love this band - love Lonnie - REAL MUSICIANS - typical Lon, haha - musicians banter, plenty of that kind of banter in my own bands down the years... i have an interview with Lon saying that he walked into the studio thinking "I'll show them" but he stepped back with surprise at how good they where. Lovely to watch

great to see this clip with the mighty Jim Creighton on lead guitar - who would later go on to join my band 'Hugh Reed and the Velvet Underpants' - but he keeps that quiet

Oha ... I don't know that. I think that's really COOL! I hope you can still get it on LP or CD ... I have to get it. Somehow I found the 80s and 90s Neo Rockabilly best ... Greetings from German :D

I know Lonnie was trying to be funny but saying the shaking pyramids were not real musicians and Leo Sayer is is a bit disrespectful and stupid come to that
