Dude thank you so much I'm a gearhead but I pulled my four-wheeler apart a month ago and my job hit real hard extra hours so I needed something to kick my memory

My bike is 1997 king quad, I've put new bearings in and when I put the stud plate into the bearings it won't go all the way home leaving a 5 to 10mm + gap towards the brake drum housing and seal? What do you think is wrong here please?
@LonnieJohnson12 жыл бұрын
It has to be centered and you might have to tap it in and is the bearings all the way in?

@@LonnieJohnson1 I've taken it to the shop I don't know what's wrong with it

So I took it to the shop and to my surprise a small ring of the old bearing had sheared off at stayed I side the housing! I couldn't see it but once it was removed and shown to me I was amazed and pleased it could be sorted! Cheers

OK how about the seals and bearings at the other end of the shaft, in the differential ?
@LonnieJohnson13 жыл бұрын
Well you have to take the differential apart and that would be another video. I do have a video of that but it on a 300 Kawasaki Bayou. Go to this link to see the Suzuki LT-4WD differential break down. www.ronniesmailorder.com/oemparts/a/suz/50d0b15cf870022c2c536431/differential-gear

Hey, I am currently trying to get my rear break drum apart but there is 5 Allen key screws that will not come off, would you know how to get them off so I can get the bearing out?

R U working on the same type and year of quad?

So I installed the bearing using another video. I installed it correctly however, I forget to put grease on the space. Is that going to be a problem or no? First time doing it so please don’t beat me up too much.
@LonnieJohnson15 жыл бұрын
Did the old part have grease on it when you pulled it out?
@petemartinez23165 жыл бұрын
LonnieJohnson1 no sir.
@LonnieJohnson15 жыл бұрын
If you mean the spline you should be ok, it should have had grease on the other end.

What size are those bearings, And where did you get them? My front ones have gone bad.
@molinaroandsons33277 жыл бұрын
hi and thenks for the video, could you give us the sizes of bearings and seals please?
@LonnieJohnson17 жыл бұрын
The bearing part # is 09262-32008 and the Seal or dust cover part # is 09238-40018 You can go to Ronniesmailorder.com and find any part you need for this and other ATV's
@LonnieJohnson17 жыл бұрын
Also the back seal dust cover part # is 09283-40019 both inner and outer bearings are the same. If you take your bearings and seals to a place that sells bearings they will match them up at a cheaper cost.
