I guess it's been a while since I bought a router, I bought my ASUS WL-520G back in 2009, and that beast is still kicking. This Belkin just seems expensive for "consumer" device. I think I paid somewhere in the $60-80 range for this, and that was kinda high at the time. I would hate to see what ones in that price range are like now.

ay you have a laptop with AC and a dongle with ac in a NAS. Will that improve the bad write speed when writing from your laptop to a NAS in your home?

You should check if there is way to put either tomato or ddwrt firmware there. Orginal firmware are in 90% usless out dated and really limit what device really can do. It would be great if you could check performance with orginal firmware and alternative.

***** Device look descent on paper, but firmware is what usually kills device. My old asus RT-16N was saved by DD-WRT, otherwise device was unseless

My old Belkin lets me surf the web, etc., while VPN'ed into my office network. This one blocks all my connections except VPN when I go into my office VPN. Is there a setting to correct this on this router?

OpenWRT supports this device. (Unfortunately, the USB 3.0 port doesn't work properly on 15.05.)

I have the old n600, my ps3 only gets up to 13mbps, I've tried 3 different repeaters ect. With this work for my ps3 my main pc hits 60mbps.

I have the ac750 it's not working for some reason , when click on the wifi on a iPad or phone it shows the wifi bar but when you try to use an app it doesn't work , dose anyone know how to fix this ?

Belkin wifi is shit. My Belkin only gives off about 7.25 Mbps. Which if you think about that, separating with 5 people, that's slow AF!! 7 divided by 5 = 1.4 Mbps. *Slaps couch* SHIT!! True story about the wifi BTW
