When staying with friends on Majorca I saw a couple of Meharis, both immaculate, one green, the other a deep rich purple. I decided then that if I lived in a similar climate I'd definitely seek out one of those.

Those old Mehari´s look better the more faded the paint gets. My old boss drove one on a TV show he did in France many years ago. Check out Floyd on France the Provence episode. He loved it!

Hello and thank you for your videos. Just to speak about the FACEL. You remember a bigger FACEL from your young age, and it's normal. The one you film is a Facelia, which is the small FACEL (4 inline cylinder from Pont A Mousson builder). The FACEL Vega you remember is probably the HK500 or FACEL 2 with the big Chrysler V8 that are bigger than the Facelia Love your videos, please continue. 👍

I would go to the local hill climb at Prescot and watch those old Bugatti's go up the hill, the sound and smells, like a chip shop going past, they are more than the sum of their parts. Somehow those electric clown cars don't do it for me, I'd rather walk.
