I'm retrofitting those exact seats into my 1988 base model, the 90-92 had the softest seats of the Town Cars with the most power features, lumbar and recline, underseat courtesy lights, and memory.

They are some of the softest plushest seats. They have 2 inches of extra foam padding

What a beaut! I love '90-'94 Town Cars, equally much as I love '80-'84 Town Cars. Financially these make more sense; these need less to go pro touring with/go put some hard miles on. Versus '80-'84 which are really dramatic, sharp, styling masterpieces that need a lot to get them up to my standard of reliability and performance. (I only trust '86+ SEFI 302s, '88+ AOD, '95-'97 rear disc brakes and '98-'02 front disc brakes if we're using off the shelf/stock powertrain parts). Your gold '90 here reminds me of a silver '94 Cartier I found out near Ridgeway earlier this year. The silver '94 I have my eyes on doesn't have the sunroof/moonroof. Seats are in better shape but it's been sitting for a couple years. Just waiting for the guy to get back to me and seal the deal. That rust in the rear dogleg is exactly why I pull as many of the trim/moldings off as I can. Even if it's a spring/summer only car, water trapped behind metal guarantees future rust problems. Beyond a certain point, form has to play second fiddle to function. That's just me though; I'm a pro touring ogre who ruthlessly simplifies in the name of performance and reliability. Agreed on the decontenting/cheapening out of the '95 and up cars. I've sat in and rode in tons of panthers these over the years and '80-'94 were the best with the interior materials and build quality. Full stop. I spy an '80-'85 Grand Marquis Colony Park!

Do u by chance know since I can’t find anything, on the 90 Cartier did one of the perks be a phone.?? I bought this car that had a felp type of cloth on the roof from front to back. I read you can get extras but nowhere have I read 1 was a phone in the mid where a cup holder would go. I appreciate any knowledge, thxs

0:24 electronic climate control. This year don't have electronic climate control, it is mechanical. Automatic but mechanical.
