Watching your tour when it is 21* below in Willow makes me feel cooler here in Missouri in August 2024, where the heat index has been over 100* for several consecutive days. (Sitting directly under an AC vent helps too! 😉😉)

Hello from Puerto Rico..I had experience snow in Philadelphia P A. But had lived in a Tropical Island and we have a period of the year that we prepared for tropical Hurricanes. And they hit hard...losing life and property damage. At time we have the port closed...there are diference in snow you have time to prepare....hope you have a merry chritsmas.and that snow will melt before no time

I shovel my flat trailers from time to time to take the weight off of them. They aren't made to have tons of weight on them. Snow is getting deep here in Willow.

I would be breathing into a bag with that much snow hemming me in . Lol. Do the highway departments keep the roads cleared off pretty good so you can get to town or you all just have to hunker down? My grandson was out today in 30 degree weather shooting with Jim and he didn’t last but about 15 minutes. -20 would just mean we wouldn’t get far from the fire lol take care and stay safe out there!

I work with G. Murphy over on Long Lake. Man, the storms we have been hit with over these last few weeks have really sucked. seems now we will be hit with clear cold days and less snow.

Man you guys sure go through the wood makes me glad I only have 2 cabins about 300 square feet each. Each one uses about a cord per year. Nice walk around always nice when you make it back to a nice warm fire on these colder days. Stay safe and stay warm

In willow we were at -28 this morning, coldest I've seen here last 30+ year was -52 for 22 days, and at the old willow in down passed Newman's -60 below

Looks like alot of work to me.I been doing this for 45 years,and burning wood as my sole heat.Not quite as fun as the reality shows on TV make it to be.You got to want this life style to do it year after year after year.I'd rather do this than live in the city anyday.
