The reason Oz calls Fizz "Froggy" is because of his CROAKY voice, and that is because of damage to his throat during the fire.

The gravelly voice is related to smoke damage that Fizz experienced when the fire took out the circus when he and Blitzø were younger.

Yup, came to say this.... It's not just a character choice, his vocal chords got scorched. One of those things viv and team chose to imply instead of outright saying..... They really take "show, don't tell" to the extreme in these shows.....

I love how absolutely chill Ozzie is. When we first met him in his club, he and Fizz weren’t being hostile toward Moxie-they were just trying to get him to sing a song that matched the vibes. He just kicks them out after Millie hurt Fizz. And in this episode, Ozzie draws a hard line about consent, *and* he respects that it’s not his business to talk about Fizz and Blitzø’s issues. And he’s genuinely apologetic that he can’t help Stolas. Like it’s just all these little touches that keep building Ozzie up as a genuinely good dude. Aside from being a demonic ruler in hell, of course.

If the club has a dress code don’t be mad when they won’t let you in if you clash. That’s why fizz and ozzy were made. They’re not matching the vibe required for the club. Also how is it that they have one of the healthiest relationships in the entire shows universe?

It's hypothesized that because Ozzie values consent so much that he offers his succubi jobs in his factory if they don't want to go to earth and sell their bodies or whatever sexual stuff succubi usually do. So if true he is definitely chill.

18:00, something you don't seem to know, but when a imp receives a scar, that part of their skin turns white. That's why half of Blitzes face and SO much of Fizz is what, they both have HUGE burn scars from that explosion and the fireworks.

Two little details I love in this episode are Fizz's little feet kicks, and Blitzø almost verbalizing how he feels about himself. This show is such an amazing balance of laughs and tears.

FUN FACTS: Fizz is voiced by the same dude who did Sir Pentious and Adam in Hazbin Hotel, and Ozzie is voiced by Zestial's voice actor. So yeah, Fizz had all 4 limbs basically blown off, plus his horns, and the blast to his face burned and scarred most of his skin white. Based on pics and info dropped thru out the series Blitz and Fizz were childhood friends in the circus. This seemingly happened when they were teens to young adults. Blitz seemingly lost his mother during the fire too. Someone kept them apart while Fizz was in the hospital recovering. So they developed resentment towards each other. Also it's assumed for Fizz's voice, during the fire the smoke damaged his vocal chords making his voice so gruff. Next episode is going to be FIRE!!!

even though i've seen this episode dozens of times, this is the first time i noticed that in the scene where ozzie attaches fizz's new arm, fizz stretches so far he breaks the frame of the video and his hands appear on the other side. there are so many clever little animation moments in this show! every time i watch i see something new.

Returning to this episode after seeing Episode 8, it really stands out how much Fizz and Ozzie's relationship contrasts with Blitzø and Stolas's, while also providing a roadmap to what it _could_ look like once those two work through their traumas. Even though there's an even greater difference in status between them than there is between Blitzø and Stolas, Ozzie very much seems to regard Fizz as his equal in their relationship -- he's protective of Fizz, but doesn't try to dictate his boundaries and openly confides his concerns; you can tell that they know how to communicate really well with each other, and without fear of confrontation... something that, as we just saw, neither Blitzø nor Stolas know how to do in the slightest. It's good that, between this episode and the next one, Blitzø has started rekindling his old friendship with Fizz -- we know he's not good at asking for help, but Fizz is perhaps the perfect guy to ask for advice on how to patch things up with Stolas. As we saw here, Fizz could tell that Stolas was actually affectionate toward Blitzø, and pegged that part of Blitzø's denial was rooted in a hatred of Stolas's royal status; it's not going to be an easy pill to swallow, but it'd be a massive help for Blitzø to get that outside perspective on where things went sideways.

Remember the story of the balloon horses and the fire in Loo-loo land? Well they foreshadowed what happened in Blitzø’s backstory. In loo-loo land he fell on top of Wackford’s cart selling inconvenient torches and started the fire. Here in OOPS, in the flashback, he pushed Wackford (I think) aside and started the fire on accident.

12:28 This is the voice of someone whose throat was burned. It makes perfect sense for her to be serious and husky. Considering Fizz's plot, it wouldn't make much sense for his voice to have a very different tone.

Fizz is voiced by Alexander Brightman, he plays Beetlejuice in the Broadway musical and he does nearly the same voice for Fizz

Omigawd!!! Yesssss!! I’ve been waiting to see your reaction to this!! You never disappoint! Thanks so much to reacting to Helluva Boss!! This show is my absolute favorite!! I think Vivienne always intended to have a Beetlejuice character in her Helliverse. The alcohol is also called Beezlejuice. So what better than getting Broadway Beetlejuice Alex Brightman to do the voice for Fizzaroli! He also voiced Sir Pentious and Adam in Hazbin Hotel. Also his voice is probably supposed to be to seem messed up from the accident. There’s indication that broken horns can mess up the imp’s senses.

From his conversation with Stoles, it seems that while Oz may like it rough and would encourage anybody else to, FORCED sex is something that he does not approve of. To him it seems, the pursuit of LUST is a practice that is supposed to be (mutually) enjoyed and pursued, not synthesized or...trapped.

Yeah Fizz got his voice ruined being so close to the explosion. We know that he ended up losing: all his limbs besides his tail, his horns were destroyed, his entire body is white because its covered in scar tissue except for where his clown nose his nose hence the splash of red on his face. It's also pretty likely that he lost his hearing and his voice for a long time since we know he learned to speak sign language at some point which would be a good dexterity exercise for someone trying to adapt to new limbs.

Fun fact: If you look at the scene where Fizz is being pulled by his pets, down the sidewalk, there is a Succubus with a pram that gets knocked over. Not sure if it's a callback, but she looks (short of a couple tweaks, like making her a succubus) JUST like the one from the Pilot. The one where Loona kicks the pram, after eating Moxxie's lunch out of the refrigerator.

Fizz didn't just lose his arms and horns in that explosion/fire, but also both of his legs and most of his skin (every bit of white on his skin is scar tissue, same for Blitzo btw) and his voice got damaged as well, which is why it's so raspy/croaky

Anyone else think the lawyer was an idiot? They were told tbe hostage would only be alive til the witching hour...a specific time.. And.the idiot lawyer does everything he can to run out the clock. He does realise once the hostage died due to being out of time, he would have also right?

That assumes Crimson _told_ him about the deadline. He's the type to set someone up as a sacrificial pawn to run out the clock and pressure someone into making a mistake -- even if he lost a lawyer, he stood to gain considerably _more_ if his scheme had worked.

Also the white spots on them are burnscars from that exident... Fizz has a red nose, because he was wearing one during the explosion, leaving that peace of skin red as normal
