Stolas made faults too. He said "Why did I ever look down on you" - Season 1 Stolas - "Impish little plaything, itsy bitsy imp" he basically treated Blitz like his personal ftoy. He developed feelings, but Blitz never saw anything from this (we the audience did), last episode he dumped everything on Blitz and didn't give him any time to process it. They both have traumas they have to deal with before they can be a good fit for each other.

Idk I’m pretty sure Stolis always had feelings for Blitz considering he had a crush on him as a child and then saw that crush as lust for a while, but I do think he was more playing up that lustful talk because he thought that’s what’s best for Blitz

Oh, and just a side note, yes, that's still Stolas's voice actor, and no, he is not actually British, he's a straight up Yank, which is freaking amazing, honestly. He is versatile, and he very much *deserves* his Tony nominations. (Also, the Pilot with Original Stolas -- who is a different voice actor entirely, not Bryce -- is no longer canon, although I'm not sure when that was fully confirmed. Originally, Pilot Stolas was meant to be an actual villain, but Vivzie was persuaded to make it more of a love story and brought Bryce on board. You can definitely hear the massive difference in their voices!)

For some examples Blitz had a second sister, the Imps casually chatting with humans, a living human in hell, and Stolas doesn't want to hurt people so him wanting Blitz to assassinate someone doesn't add up, there are more but you get it. For those reasons most people already didn't think the pilot was fully canon so Viv just gave it the final axe, I believe she said this in a Tweet after S2E7 but before Hazbin released, she also said Hazbin's pilot was canon shortly after.

@@tyler60904Do you know of the poster that can be seen in the CHERUBS episode that has Barbie Wire and Blitz without his scar labelled "The amazing Imp twins"? Well in the pilot it can also be seen (it's not easy to see but it's there) which shows Blitz with his scar, Barbie wire, and a third Imp named Tilla all labeled with "The amazing Imp siblings". The third sibling will be recognizable as the mother, they likely decided that instead of siblings she would be the mother and the change in Blitz's scar was a huge indicator of his past (this small change led some people to guess very closely to what was revealed in S2E6 all the way back in Season 1).

I love how the artist places the light white or yellow circles in Stolas's eyes for the strongest emotional moments of hurt or shock. Brilliant!. Blitz can apologize to everyone b/c it's just wording them. He can't just word at Stolas b/c he loves him. Any words would have meaning and he's afraid of the loss.

Ok here’s what some people are missing. We all see everyone’s point of view, how stolas truly feels how blitz feels. But they don’t see each others point of view so blitz never knew how stolas really felt we only saw it when stolas was alone

And vice versa, yes. I think you’re right, and that’s exactly the point. I think the show has done a FANTASTIC job of showing how vastly differently things can look from different points of view. The fact that the fans keep taking sides and arguing over what this or that action meant or looked like just proves how brilliant the writing is. If even we, the viewers, who saw behind-the-scenes what was happening with each character, can interpret things differently from each other, of COURSE Blitzo and Stolas are going to have problems. I’m so glad we got to see that both of them realize that they’ve read each other wrong and contributed to the mess. It’s so funny to realize that all of us are doing the same thing that Stolas has (and Blitzo will)- looking back at their time together and picking apart every interaction for clues as to what went wrong, whose fault it was, and what they should have done instead. Yeah, the writers absolutely did this on purpose. Getting the fans to ask the same questions as the characters is a really powerful method to reinforce empathy for the characters.

This episode was very focused on how Blitz's actions have hurt other people and now he wants to change; he wants to be better for himself and for Stolas. But Stolas has made a lot of mistakes too: let's not forget the transactional relationship started because he proposed it, and he treated Blitz (even if it wasn't on purpose) in a very condescending way many times, making him feel like a "pet" or a "sex toy." So, Stolas is still in his own head, and I'm sure the show will tackle his issues too because Vivziepop has said so, so both of them must grow and understand each other better so they can be together, because those 2 clearly love each other.

This episode hurt a lot, not as much as last one, but it did. But for me the most interesting part was the relationships felt the most real in this one. Like not just romcom or fantasy, like real life feel. I related so much to people here, and especially Stolas. I was left with a surreal feeling and hope for better for everyone. Also Verosika grew so much on me, she feels so much more fleshed out I love her.

Ive seen a lot of discussions talking about how both are in the wrong in different ways when it comes to communication. However, the difference, and the reason it focuses on blitzo, is because stolas doesn't know how relationships should work, aside from romcoms, lol. His only relationship is with stella, which he largely ignored and mentally blocked out, and blitz, which didnt start anyway near a normal relationship. So he has no idea how to communicate in a relationship, while blitzo refuses to communicate in a relationship.

He knows what he's doing is destroying his relationships, even described it right to stolas before downplaying it. Like i said, he's just refusing to let his relationships go further because of his self hate. He's refusing to communicate his feelings in a healthy way to avoid being in a relationship he doesn't feel he deserves.

THANK YOU! Finally someone points out that Stolas can’t change because he doesn’t know he’s doing it wrong. It shows in how Stolas immediately looks closer at their relationship after the date at Ozzie’s when Blitz actually SAID how he thought Stolas saw the relationship. That’s not to say Stolas didn’t mess up or that Blitz doesn’t have his issues, but Blitz made unfair assumptions about Stolas just because of his birth. Just like he thought Stolas was doing to him.

As promised during the stream, here's the page and a half of stuff I jotted down during the episode, refined into something less stream-of-consciousness-y: - The first scene was a roller coaster in itself, as much a mix of steps forward and back as everything else in this episode. Both Blitzø and Stolas did _so_ much better at communicating with one another, and at correcting their own failings in the process -- Stolas was able to express his feelings clearly and stand up for his own boundaries, and even though it took a lot of pushing, Blitzø _actually _*_admitted_*_ to his self-loathing_ and copped to the fact that he's no good at talking things out... but then they both kept falling back into their self-defensive bad habits, Blitzø pushing when he should've backed off and Stolas backing off when he should've pushed, and things boomeranged _right_ back to where they started. It's true what they say: hurt people hurt people. - The reveal of Martha and Miss Mayberry was thoroughly unexpected, but a welcome surprise. It might be risky to make paying a visit to IMP's targets a regular fixture of the after-mission routine (Sinners _are,_ after all, _stronger_ than Imps and _much_ harder to kill a second time), but hey, it could be a nice touch if they try it. - Blitzø's repeated attempts to try to find the words to express how sorry he was to Stolas illustrate as clearly as anything how much Blitzø actually _does_ regret what he said and did. It's been discussed before that he's self-taught when it comes to writing, so drafting up apology texts is likely a challenge for him -- but he doesn't go through that kind of hassle for people who aren't worth it to him, and he clearly felt like he needed to do _more_ than just _write_ an apology. Blitzø's going to more trouble to make amends with Stolas than he's done for just about anyone else. - As much as Stolas _really_ doesn't want to be around Blitzø for the time being (and understandably so, honestly), it's pretty clear from his visible discomfort at the overt animosity aimed at Blitzø at the party that _he doesn't _*_hate_*_ Blitzø._ He's _hurt,_ and he wants _space_ and the time to _heal,_ but it's not hard to see that he's still willing to let Blitzø _earn_ another chance. - The costumes and decor at the party are chock-full of jokes and references. I have to give points for the Alex Brightman-inspired Beetlejuice costume, that was an excellent touch. - Blitzø has probably _never_ had as clear a demonstration of how badly he's broken someone's heart as he got by being in the audience for Stolas's song. Stolas was absolutely speaking from the heart, broken as it is, sharing his feelings in a way that he's likely never been able to before -- keeping his eyes closed to keep his anxiety at bay, he was able to help Blitzø see clearly what he really meant to Stolas... and just how _severely_ his actions have messed up Stolas's headspace in a cycle of 'what-ifs' and self-blame. For the first time, Blitzø realized how much he'd fucked up, and it _hurt him._ - The liquor-soaked talk between Blitzø and Stolas was *_exactly_* the talk they _needed_ to have the other night, and while it _sucks_ that it's literally a day late and a dollar short, the fact that it was said is a *_major_* first step in both of their journeys to healing. And honestly, Blitzø made some _really good choices:_ he allowed Stolas space, let him take the high ground in the conversation, let him speak without interruption, recognized that Stolas was likely _not_ in the right space for physical contact when he was breaking down (which is *_HUGE,_* and something _so_ many people get wrong!), and when there wasn't anything left to say in the moment, _he let Stolas go._ He's _genuinely improved,_ even if he doesn't _realize_ it yet. - This episode recontextualized a _lot_ of things about Verosika's earlier appearances, but one of the big ones might be her previous mention of Barb, Blitzø's sister. We know they crossed paths in the rehab center, and it seems likely they'd each find out about the other's experience with Blitzø (Barb has the same mark on her forehead that her brother does, and Verosika had his name tattooed on her upper arm); the two of them bonding over the pain they've experienced thanks to Blitzø might've given Verosika the idea to host these parties to help other people he's hurt, and even if Barb's not attending this year's event, it's worth noting that Verosika's wearing her modified mark in her outfit (the emblem on her left leg is the same crossed-out version of the symbol on Barb's forehead). Visual shout-outs to kindred spirits seem like her style, considering she chose to _modify_ the tattoo rather than _remove_ it -- anybody who realizes what it means is probably someone who could use an invite to the next party. - Blitzø's talk with Verosika was the best way to cap off this episode. The party being a form of group therapy, Blitzø's admission that he _realizes_ he's screwed up, is _genuinely_ sorry for it and _wants_ to be better, Verosika giving him unironically good relationship advice despite everything he's put her through before giving him an 'eat your heart out' slice of cake and heading off to start a song about how, even if she's not over what happened between them, she's gotten over _him..._ as bittersweet as the ending was, it's a perfect denouement.

I would say it's because they can hurt us more easily, so if that happens we are more likely to lash out to them than someone we don't care about. Hate is so closely tied to love, you only hate people you once loved or who hurt those you love. Hurting someone you don't care about is either out of carelessness or cruelty, mostly when you need to deal with your own issues in some way, but it isn't personal. When you hurt someone you care about it's most likely out of emotions and it is personal. It's also easier to hurt someone who cares about you. Most times I've lashed out on people it were friends or loved ones and I did so out of hurt. Hurt they could only cause me because I cared

Tbh I dont think Stolas is actually in love with Blitz right now after their talk in this episode. He's in love with the thought of being someones someone. He most likely wanted this someone to be Blitzø but I dont think it's actually love until now - you dont make out with someone else less then 24h after your crush rejected you if it's love no matter how angry and broken you are. Imo both are at the same point of their situationship but they are the complete opposite of each other and Blitz might actually be the first to actually fall in the end. Would love to see him give Stolas his romcom moment lmao

so what you missed: - Fizzarolli didn't cry, it was Blitzo; reference to s2e6 "Oops" - Southern Bitch was Martha, yes the same person in s1e1 "Murder Family" and the one behind was the teacher - bouncer was from s1e7 Ozzies - the apple guy was from s1e2 "Loo Loo Land" - the dead people were the Dhorks from s1e6 "Truth Seekers" - Dennis was from the s1e8 at Queen Bee's party, where Blitzo kissed someone named Dennis (Christ on a stick you would be a Dennis, get the fuck away from me! I'm not fucking a Dennis tonight!) - the Holly scene was from s2e2 "Seeing stars" where Octavia killed Brennon Ragers (the guy in the background was the producer of the romcom) - there was a original Blitzo plushie edited that got burned on a stick - there was a guy dressed up as "it" and one that was dressed up as "Beetlejuice" (you know who played Beetlejuice on stage? hm?) - Wally Wackford made a cameo at the end - there were three songs actually: Stolas song, and two Verosika one (the one when Blitzo and Stolas talked at the party and the one in the end) Stolas isn't that innocent; he was the one that actually want the Full Moon contract in the first place (remember s1e1 "Murder Family" the phonecall); he was the one that could see at Blitzo when he got offended by Asmodeus and Blitzo didn't take it right (remember he put the menu over his face and Blitzo's look afterwards at s1e7 "Ozzie's"); he was the one that wrote long sentences at Blitzo whereas Blitzo only send him one-liners (s2e4 "Western Energy" at the end where you could see the messages) and he was the one who kicked Blitzo out (s2e8 "The Full Moon" Stolas didn't look at Blitzo at the end before he kicked him out; if he would he wouldn't have done it; he was like "I'm right, you're wrong and I don't wanna talk about it" because he didn't want to be hurt more; but he didn't let communication happened; in the end you could hear very silent "I'm sorry" from Blitzo) Blitzo is indeed a trauma child and he has problems with his feelings and his choleric actions; but remember he doesn't know what Stolas is through... and he truly believes that everything after the accident it his fault: that his mother died (allegedly), that Fizzarolli got hurt; that Barbie Wire got addicted, hospitalized and doesn't want anything to do with him; that he broke up with Verosika (and many more). In s1e7 "Ozzie's" you could see that he isn't in any picture at his home. Yes, he has pictures about Millie and Moxxie because they are his employee and are bound to him. He has pictures of Loona becuase he has adopted her and is probably the only one thing he made right. And she is bound to him because he adopted her... and s1e8 "Queen Bee" happened we know that she really likes him, that she calls him "dad" and that she sometimes acts that harsh because Blitzo can be a d*ck sometimes. Also Blitzo did know that the first meeting was through money not real friendship (s2e1 "The Circus") whereas Stolas didn't know that and probably wondered why Blitzo never met him again until he stole the book. Stolas on the other hand does not know what Blitzo is through. The only pieces of information that he has what Blitzo told him. And the scene in s2e6 "Oops" when Asmodeus told him there is something happened between Blitzo and Fizzarolli and that it is not his to tell the story. Now he doesn know that Verosika got hurt through Blitzo because she is the one that organized the party and that she isn't the only one. Stolas is just the newest piece in the puzzle. I'm sure that the outburst of Blitzo to Stolas at the beginning of the episode might be not true or that Blitzo wanted to something to hurt Stolas... but that is actually true because we Viewer know that. I mean the best thing that happened now is that Blitzo knows that he hurt a lot of people.. sometimes probably because he didn't want to, but his feelings did take over him. And that his self-protection is to hurt others before he gets hurt. He was also the one that let Stolas the dance.. Stolas looked at him and Blitzo waved with his hand to give him the "ok". Just for the dance, not kissing. And now... he is the one that must fight for Stolas. I know it's a lot but I wanna emphasize that viewer's knowledge ≠ characters knowledge. AAAND that both are at fault: they don't listen to each other. If they would - because communication is the key in every relationship - they would be long together.

The thing with these two is they are two very different personalities. Stolis is trying to be honest but takes everything Blitz says at face value and is never able to read his true feelings. Blitz on the other hand has so much self-hate that he physically cannot see how anybody could love him and so whenever anyone tries to get close he pushes them away because he’s scared other people will only suffer if they date him because “there are better people out there”

For the backstory on Blitzo and his life: He got jealous his father or parents was giving Fizz attention in the twnt and when he tried to run away he ran into someone with a birthday cake. So it caught fire on one of the capes of the tent. Which must have exploded something. (Apologies if this isn't fully accurate.)

I love what they did with this episode. It explored so many emotions and feelings, but also had some easter eggs for some comic relief so its not super sad. An easter egg I keep recognizing is an imp in a Beetlejuice costume when Blitz and Verosika are talking. Also I just love indie stuff like this in general because there aren't deadlines and the artists aren't super stressed out by getting things done super super fast so theres so many little details and real life things in al the episodes.

And another little detail I noticed: In the beginning Blitz said he sorry-ed Fizz so hard he cried even though it was actually him who was crying, not Fizz😌

Stolas' voice actor is literally a broadway singer, so no, they didn't use a different actor for his song here Also Stolas IS wrong in his own ways. Not to the extent of Blitz, but the description of the episode literally says Stolas isn't self-aware. He has actually looked down on Blitz in multiple instances, but he doesn't understand that right now. There's alot of examples in the show where he calls him things like, "My little imp", "Itty bitty imp", "My impish plaything", etc. , not to mention situations like episode 2 where he openly flirts and talks dirty to Blitz in ways that make him uncomfortable. So while he believes he's done nothing that Blitz should be upset by, Blitz IS upset, and Stolas needs to realize that it's because he _has_ said and done things that made Blitz feel looked down on and objectified for being an imp.

15:41 : that's him, he just lost the accent for the song hahaha (I still think he sounds like Stolas though), most of the time he still has the accent he fakes even while singing (he's American not British), while real British people will lose their accent while singing (I think that proves that he is really good because staying with a fake accent while singing is hardhaha) Blitz needed to hear this, but Stolas still made some mistakes, he doesn't see the classist way he has because the rest of his family is waaaaay worse than he could ever be (if that was the case he wouldn't even be at this party or wouldn't have even accepted to go at Ozzie's with Blitz in public), however he made more steps to communicate with Blitz but not always the best way. I fully believe the way he says "my little plaything in s1ep6 was more to play the part as a big bad demon in front of the humans, but still we can get why Blitz would take it for himself in a bad way because he says some other things in other moments (itsy bitsy imp for example) and even if they are said as a form of endearment it doesn't translate that way. Blitz is the one who made it more complicated by ghosting Stolas and not wanting to hang out and talk with Stolas outside of s*x, wich is tragic irony ha. Specifically we can see and hear that Stolas makes effort other time in the show (he stops calling Blitz Blitzy in public little by little or cuts down real quick the horny dialogues for example), and time happens between the episodes (which I feel like a lot of people forget while watching the show) and we see that through the interactions and in the details in the backgrounds and or details in the dialogues. But yeah Stolas is still ignorant in a lot of ways and doesn't understand how he could come up as belittling sometimes (and that's not going to change if no one tells him) Both of them have things to take care of before it gets better between them. Also communication wise, the ball is in Blitz's court now because Stolas talked about most of his grievance to him in this episode.

Well Stolas also realized how wrong he was in episode 7 Ozzies. He saw what a real relationship was and realized how his own was not even a real relationship at all and in episode 4 Western Energy he saw how much the imps actually despise royalty. He realized he was wrong and tries to make amends

The last 3 episodes for the season will be out in October, November, and December, respectively. We will be getting one short a month until then (July, August, and Sept), so that's something, but the consequences from this episode will have to wait until October at the earliest, but given the previews, it looks to be about the IMP crew on a job, so probably Nov. before we get any more from Stolas.

a little head cannon i have seem people like is that Blitz is Aromantic A-Romantic means a person is unable to or has difficulty; understanding and expressing Romantic attraction. it's different from Sexual and Platonic Attraction. (Blitz is Pansexual btw) blitz kind checks alot of boxes 1) confusion at being wanted just because 2) dismisses somethings stolas says with "thats a sitcom" and "thats the gayest thing i have heard all day". as they they are overly sappy 3) a fascination with M&M, like he understands what they have is beautiful, but at the same time doesn't get it. example being in Truth Seekers. "she is always 5 feet away from you, it's pathetic" 4) you can see in this episode that, he is gradually beginning to have the realization... that those Sappy feelings, are everywhere. that he is starting to think he is the odd one out for not getting it....

Unless you go down the classism rabbithole, most people won't see stolas being at fault at all (considering this as an equal realtionship). So this is where i dont understand the power imabalnce everyone says stolas has. This is my take. How is Stolas the one that has the power imbalance? Okay... from the begining let Blitz use the book no strings attached to do his job. He called blitz and said I do need it back to do mine too but would u like to do this favor for favor? He always asked. He never forced blitz or tricked him into anything. You can't say he held the book over his head when blitz already had the book. And in the begining. Blitz tricked him into thinking he wanted Stolas in a sexy way. And could have ran off with the book once he tied him up. Again. Tied him up. Blitz had all the control in this relationship. And blitz always has access to the book. It's cause Stolas asked for them to keep having nights together that everyone's like oh he's got the power. He's the socially higher up one so blitz is the one being abused. When it's quite the opposite. Blitz nearly assaulted r- aped him twice. The first time when he was drinking at Stella's party scared for his life.amd concerned because of blitz killing profession, saying no more than once. Stolas saying he was only joking he doesn't want too. And saying what are you doing? And blitz slamming him around. Stolas being technically the stronger one doesn't mean he can't be abused. And Stolas being aroused doesn't mean consent. Re watch it and think about a lot of victims that blame themselves because people wana put blame on someone who was emotional mentally manipulated and taken advantage of. They dont wana take responsibility for their consequences to their actions. I love how your saying idk how u can hurt people u care about, i love that u are like that, and seeing blitz do this over and over to Stolas is frustrating to me and makes me not like blitz at all, Both Stolas and Blitz have been hurt and traumatized in their own ways, but stolas never has to hurt others to cope.

This episode is the most entertaining but yet heartbreaking one yet out there that hit hard for Blitz’s life to get some closure till he lost his moment with leaving Stolas. 🥲 I hope next couple or episodes ahead can let Blitz give his all heart and mind to Stolas to confess his feeling to him or try his best.
