This movie felt like a stab to my soul, especially when the question “why do you draw?” Came up.. tatsuki fujimoto has made such incredible story’s and look back is definitely one of my favorites, it doesn’t end on a traditional good note…but as i watched her drawing as the movie credits began to ran, it gave me hope in a way….great video btw! Criminally underrated!

Beautifully said! I see it as a bittersweet ending. While Fujino can't bring back Kyomoto, she gets a new form of motivation to continue her work, as a way to honor her lost friend. Glad you enjoyed the video and hope you enjoy what's next to come!

I think that's what makes films and, in turn, art so great. How we perceive and contextualize these movies is so distinct from others that you're almost always guaranteed to hear a unique perspective on them. Glad you enjoyed the video and hope you stick around!
