Criticism is the most important element to improving as an artist. This film was our first ever short film and was created for a year 11 end of year assessment by a group of 16-17 years old's in high school. We were very proud to achieve this end result with the limited time and resources at our disposal. We appreciate your feedback but we ask that it is kept constructive and that we all remain civil to one another. Our only goal is to entertain and we hoped this was our first step into doing just that. We hope you all can see the film for what it was and know we tried our hardest, we will continue to learn from our mistakes and hope you stick around for more content to come! - Titan Knockout

It was unnecessary to show you flicking the bubbles out of the syringe. It just gave the audience a chance to notice that there wasn't a needle in it. Or maybe next time do the shot from further away so that it is harder to tell whether or not there is a needle and then cut to the scene of you injecting her and no one is the wiser. You're doing well to set the mood with the music and the filters. just little things you need to look for because those little things can ruin it for the audience. Maybe have more friends or family look over it with fresh eyes before publishing.

Very impressive for high school kids.The fake accent from the doctor? Professor? Whatever. That was a bad choice. It almost ruined it. No accent is better than an obvious fake one.

I agree with your comment. People find it easy to leave comments that fall well past being rude and undignified largely due to the fact they are relatively anonymous and therefore experience no consequence to any negative and hurtful statements made here on the internet. I think overall your efforts are worthy of a watch and with some genuine constructive criticism, you will only become better. LOL remember, there are enough people on this planet who will always find fault and problems no matter how exceptional you become. Don't waste your time on such people, surround yourself with people who are constructive, supportive and ambitious in a positive way.

I'm surprised to see this was done by 16-17 year olds! I honestly would not have guessed that. It takes enormous amounts of time and work to make something like this, especially by kids that age in school!! There are so many factors that people don't realize with a project this large with students that age: there are extremely limited resources. The students are working with probably a less than $50 budget; much less time than they would have liked (usually after school hours only - that only leaves so much time per day); varied skill levels and experience of actors that are available to work; limited equipment that probably isn't the best in the world; nerves and pressure from this being a first time and important undertaking; and also - having to balance many ideas and suggestions from several people, some of which would have to be let down when sharing the writing. I would be incredibly proud if I was the teacher/overseer of this project. It was done professionally and easily stands up to many other shorts on KZbin, despite any flaws or issues people have pointed out. There are shorts I've watched (I've watched hundreds and hundreds on KZbin) that are significantly below the level of this one, done by so-called "experienced" filmmakers. I hope the students involved didn't take the rudeness and unnecessary harshness some have posted as comments, and instead are able to focus on the good work they did in producing a completed, professional film. These kids absolutely have a bright future and I personally would encourage them to continue on and keep making art through film. It's very easy to be rude and inappropriate when making comments about someone else's work. However, if you take a minute to think about it - to truly and honestly think about it - any person on here would be hard pressed to match the level of this film on their first time attempt while working under the same parameters these kids did. No, it isn't perfect, but it is outstanding work, all things considered. Congratulations to the students that worked so hard to make this film! I wish you all the best of luck! And to the teacher that was overseeing the project - I hope you are proud of these kids, and you are obviously an excellent teacher to them. Well done!!

the "needle" was not a needle, its the same thing i give my cat his flea medicine with. the little chemical set looked like the ph tester kit for a fish tank. the girl looked like she was using a leash to strangle the wrong way. Did you guys have family that owns a chain of pet stores or something. this thing was all over the place. the voice, dear god. he sounded like a second string bond villain that they kept around to make coffee runs. there is such a thing as over acting. man, im not trying to hate but looking at the comments, im as lost as everyone else. i know this is like 4 years late but i had to voice a comment. still, i applaud the effort.

What was the husband's name? The Dr's name? Why did they go after Miles? Why hadn't the husband and wife aged in 10 years? Who controlled and spoke through the tv/radio? The acting, gestures and vocal tone was affected. Tell the performers to speak normally. Like they're talking to their friend/s. Also, the lighting was too dark in spots. I couldn't see anything at times.

the technical skill was top notch. ALL OF IT! Corinne wooden was excellent. but, I say this all time, the writing was lacking coherency and exposition. even the opening radio narration, a good technique, didn't help with the rest of the story. it probably looked great on paper, made perfect sense to the writer and filmmakers, but the viewer was left bewildered and perplexed. I didn't even know the first guy was a reporter until I read the comments. I just thought he was burglar. and then when the ghost (?), was she a ghost?, said - "he's gone" it only confused me even more. I liked the little segment after the credits but it didn't clarify anything for me. overall a good job for a first effort from high schoolers. I would've given the film an A-, the (-) being for the writing.

I can't tell if it was good or bad so I guess that means it's ok! The acting needs some improving just a bit! Cinematography was good, sound good, lighting mostly good. Storyline?????There was none as far as I could tell. Caught bits and peices of a plot but then it was gone. Not bad not good but...ok is how I leave it. Great try though. I certainly couldnt have done better.

The first five minutes were pretty boring, especially, when you didn't know, why that man was snooping around. After that, the movie got better. So, if you stuck around after five minutes, then you probably enjoyed the rest of it.

Ryan: look personally I don't either, this film was made to a deadline for my year 11 media final. A lot of scenes were just not filmed so I just put together what I had. We never got to shoot the remainder scenes as we are all busy with school. I was pretty proud of the result seeing as this was the first short film I had ever made. So yes the story makes no sense but I still believe it's an entertaining watch personally.

Wow... spectacularly horrible acting, and the story did not make sense at all. I knew I should have stopped watching halfway... I kept watching it, hoping it would all make sense in the end but NOPE. All it did was waste my time. I'll give you this though... at the beginning? When that scary voice said, "Look behind you!"... that sent chills up my spine. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there... FAST, and kept spiraling.
