I’m not sure there’s a cure for what ails these people and the faster I can get away from them the better. I think the electoral college should be applied at the county level. So maybe you should travel there to see the homelessness and poverty which in most cases is far greater than here. Then explain I'm not trying to be political when faced with the same or worst conditions . Since you are not political you should not have any trouble calling out republicans that are dealing with the same issues in their states.

Thank you for taking your time to go out there and share this with us. I work around this and drive through some of it regularly, but since the “Summer of love” won’t drive anywhere other than my routes to and from work at the hospital. Too many people still completely deny that this is the truth of Tim Walz’s Minnesota and country. Believe it people!!
@flythislolАй бұрын
What you don't seem to get, is that you are upset at the wrong people. It isn't the Democrat's fault. The state of our country is due to wealth inequality, and the declining standard lof life for the "middle-class" while the rich get richer. It's a class war. Don't blame your fellow poor people. Don't fall victim to culture war crap. This is rich versus poor. Blame the people who actually *control* your life, not those who just do things you don't find tasteful.

This is Trump's gift to America...through & through. During Trump's presidency, the inflation rate increased 7.75%. The poverty rate increased 1.76%. Immigration increased 14.7%. The U.S. national debt increased 40.43%. The trade deficit reached $679 billion dollars. The U.S. economy lost 2.9 million jobs. 202,543 jobs were offshored. 1,800 factories closed. There's Amazon & so much more online. Trump's Covid pandemic response continues to force retail stores to close. Trump Built a National Debt So Big (Even Before the Pandemic) That It’ll Weigh Down the Economy for Years. The “King of Debt” promised to reduce the national debt - his tax cuts made it surge. He oversaw the third-biggest deficit increase of any president in history.

Minneapolis and St Paul has never been like this ever. Thanks to Governor Tim Walz, St Paul, Mayor Melvin Carter and MPLS, Mayor Jacob Frey. Neighborhood churches are collapsing due to the city losing it's faith. And the inner city playgrounds are being shut down. So the kids have nowhere to go to escape their bad environments at home. To make good friends and have good role models in life. The inner city is infested with very high crime. Jails are releasing criminals with over 50 Felonies on their records. Very dangerous crimes such as Armed Robbery, Burglary, Domestic Assault, Felon caught with guns, Drive by Shootings, and some Murder charges are being released every day without bail until there sentencing court dates. And of course, they do not show for court. Or they rack more gun charges and Burglary charges, violating no contact orders and racking more gun charges or Murder. It's out of control. Ramsey County and Hennepin Co jails do not hold anyone on illegal Immigration thank's to it's leaders at the Sheriff's Departments who coward down from protecting the public. There is plenty more I could say, and I feel bad for the good kids at the schools who are tormented by bad kids who do not get punished in schools, or there parents being held accountable. The court system is broken, kids are not being protected. And it's sad. I see first hand. Minnesota needs a miracle for good over the evil that has taken over.

We can't go on blaming the poitical leaders for everything but we can blame and educate those who vote for them. Join the team and let's Make America Great Again. It is better to light one candle than curse the darkness. The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either -- but right through every human heart.

There are more homeless encampments all over the country, not just Minneapolis. This is a society/economic issue. The cause of this society problem is not the DFL, Walz, or MPLS/ St. Paul leaders. It is capitalism, to the extent that its profitable to allow people to become this destitute, to use as a threat (unspoken of course) to be a good worker cog in the machine and don't speak out, or else this is where you will be. The homeless out reach programs are inadequate. Private non-profits, usually religious affiliated which requires a 100% sobriety to get aid or be kicked out is too strict since that requirement is not always paired with programs to help get off drugs/alcohol. Or programs to get them meaningful work then permanent housing. I agree that encampments are unsightly and bad for the community, but if the 'solution' is to criminalize poverty or pushing them to be somewhere else out of sight, that doesn't solve the cause. It only pushes it under the rug.
