After 2 months, watched this back for no reason. New Comment: Have two of those novascope to make it like a Binocular, add an addressable LED light on them, copy preferable arduino template code, paste and update the LED . Light will move from one end to another repeatable. Have a looping high!

@@bianogueira3435 The mirror film on the one side has been removed in some spots to allow the light in, and had a rainbow colored film applied over it (slightly visible under the mother of pearl) the geometric pattern seen is due to the way the mirrors are cut, small at one end and bigger at the other.

That item is so cool! I've always like kaleidoscopes and would buy it immediately if it weren't so expensive. Also......Please move slower....... so fast it is soooooo annoying and we miss so much of the splendor of the thing. It is almost dizzying how many times you turn that object to over and over and side just a short 10 seconds. Then the flash ligh up and down so fast..... The whole point of kaleidoscopes are showing anybody anything is to do it slowly not dizzyingly fast to the point where we can't even focus our eyes on the colors changing until they change again

natalie hidalgo three first source tapered mirrors. One lightly sandblasted to allow colored gells/inks underneath a layer of mother-of-pearl. Lastly, there’s a marble at the tip and a flat viewing glass at the aperture. All held together by (typically) thick copper wire and solder, sometimes tin/nickel/silver/pewter/etc. Created with a ton of artistry, mathematics, time, effort, patience, and experience. Also, it’s not able to be disassembled without breaking it. You’s have to physically cut the wires, de-solder the edges, and at that point, it would likely never go back together the same, or at all. IfI’m forgetting anything, apologies

@zachr2074 жыл бұрын
Ra Ra Yes, I do, though I am not to the point of commercial/professional. I’ve made a few for friends and family; they are simply magical to experience in person. Notable artists I have gotten inspiration from are; Dave Sugich's 'Novascopes', Minori Yamazaki of the 'CUMOS', Gary Allison's 'Holoscopes', and Jack Storm's cold glass works like his Chroma Cube used as the tesseract in the Marvel movies. Also, ViviOvo Di'Amor, Spherix, and others: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpaweIWDrMalgas

@@zachr207 How do you think was that honeycomb effect achieved? Also with the different colors? Those seem to be more in the front away from the marble...
@zachr2074 жыл бұрын
AnKlMa it is the optical illusion of tapered mirror and 3D solids kaleidoscopes. Check out Gary Allison’s Holoscopes. There are many different geometric patterns that can be obtained through different mirror positions and shapes. The slightest change would throw the entire image out of place; this is why these works of art are truly magnificent. You gotta check out Jack Storm’s work ad well, highly recommended.
