We just might have to do this the summer. We just did the states for second grade with our curriculum. And this just looks like fun to learn some more. I would also suggest you could print out the states on a sticker sheet .

Ahh! I know it’s been a while since you commented. But could you let me know what geography curriculum you picked? It’s going to be the first time I introduce it to my kids and feel so overwhelmed with the choices lol.

@@FashionbyBrittany I took a step back after starting Beautiful Feet Books Geography curriculum because I wasn't loving the layout or their spine (beautiful book but not the best choice for us). I put the Notgrass "Our 50 States" book in as the spine and liked it A LOT better, BUT I was also supplementing with this and felt like it was all a little too much at the time. Waldock's Traveling the States is great on its own, honestly. I LOVE the Notgrass Our 50 States book though, as the pictures are beautiful and it's overall just a fun book, so using them together actually works better now than I thought it would!

If done 2 days a week when could we expect to be done?

If you did 2 states a week 25 weeks, if you only did 1 state 2 days a week it would take 50 weeks.

I wanted to love the book this curriculum used, but returned it because of the content . As a conservative family, I couldn't allow it in my home. The curriculum looks amazing though.

May I ask what content you found issue with? I don't own it yet and am curious before I buy...

@@bethanyfaber2012, most of the "heroes" from each state are what most would consider pretty liberal. There are three or four different parts where Obama is mentioned, but Trump is only on the page with other presidents, nothing else about him in the entire book.

@@macnsydsmom thanks for your response! Looking at the reviews on Amazon, it seems this is a common complaint which is disappointing. I wonder if there is a different book that would have similar info about the states that we could use with the curriculum, because it looks amazing!
