I was lucky enough to find 3 (un-shrunken) cashmere sweaters at a local thrift store and they are fantastic. I have a navy lightweight with a slight V neck, a burgundy crew neck mid-weight and a dark grey zip up hoody. I have owned them for nearly 8 years and wear them consistently over the fall and winter.

I have purchased a cashmere sweater from Quince and it looks as good as my Nordstrom cashmere. I also bought a pair of linen pant for my trip to Spain. They are made of a slightly heavier fabric than my other linen pants but they are very nice. VERY interested in the convertible blazer. I find I am too hot in any type of wool or wool blend jumpers/sweaters and I love my cashmere ones (sky blue and emerald green, but I dont wear them). Is it just me? Great for a minute going from the house to your car, car to the cafe or friends house, but once inside .... tooo hot and sweaty! I find I am more comfy with a shirt or quality T-shirt/top and throw on some sort of coat, jacket or oversized cool cardy, and once inside I can peel that off and be comfy. A pity, I love the look of a quality jumper.

The Quince shirt is not just a “silky shirt”, it’s 100% mulberry silk, for about the same price as most “silky shirts” out there, which are made of hot, sweaty, stinky polyester. There is simply no comparison, it’s genuine mulberry silk or nothing at all for me. Why compromise on quality? You hit it on the head over and over on this one for me. I am not suggesting all have to think like me. I like being somewhat boring in dress. While most of my clothes have been in my closet for years, you were describing much of my wardrobe. As a widow I seldom fee the need to dress elegantly. Often at church, others compliment my outfits. Tend to be dark jeans, solid top (mostly t-shirts), blazers (I get from Dress for Success), and a gorgeous scarf. Hi Lorraine- I’ve had a PDO threadlift (these are kinda controversial now), done BBL twice over the past year (highly recommend), and I typically get botox injections 2x per year (although recent backlash is making me rethink it). I’ve also been using OneSkin skincare and it is amazing. It’s science backed, AND it’s clean. It took me about 4 weeks, using it twice a day, to see a noticeable difference. Dark spots are gone, skin tone is even and brighter overall. I’ve also had a major focus on my gut health over the past year and that has made a huge difference in my skin and decreased inflammation throughout my body. How do these pieces hold up to washing? I ordered a silk tank over the summer and when I washed it (gentle cycle, in a laundry bag, air dried) the wrinkles just won’t come out. I’ve steamed it, but it still looks wrinkled.

I would send it to a dry cleaner to see what they can do. Things always tend to wrinkle a lot the first time you wash them.

I've washed the silk pieces and if the wrinkles were still stubborn, I've thrown into the dryer just on air-fluff *NO HEAT* and them steamed and had no issues getting the wrinkles out. They feel amazing, soft, and great quality. xo

I'm allergic to wool (rashes wherever it touches skin!) so can ONLY wear cashmere, alpaca, cotton & rayon. Cashmere is at LEAST 3x warmer than wool & so scrumptious-feeling against my skin!

It's definitely a classier, more polished look with darker jeans. Feels more seasonally appropriate too, but you can still wear the lighter washed jeans for a more casual look as well! It's definitely not a hard and fast rule here. xo

Hi Erin We just now are getting over our close to one hundred degree days and the drought. Now, it is time to think about Fall and Fall clothes. Did you know that you don’t look much different than when I started watching you years ago. In fact, with your make up, hair and that rich looking burgundy blouse you could easily pass for thirty. I am loving that brown has become easier to get again. For years we could not find brown sweaters m pants , blazers etc. I love the Quince sweaters you showed…wonder about the burgundy one. I don’t know if I would be a large or medium. Always good to see our very beautiful ( inside as well as outside ) Erin ❤❤❤❤.

Quince does have lovely and high quality fabrics. I have had some difficulty with the fit of tops. They seem to be cut in a way that doesn’t work for me. Especially in anything structured, the sleeves don’t work, as if the armhole is cut wrong somehow. When standing still there is plenty of room, but raise my arm and the entire garment (especially a dress) lifts up and becomes tight and restrictive. Linen, silk, cotton; sleeveless, short or long sleeve, all do the same thing. Sizing up doesn’t make any difference. I’ve never had this happen with any other companies. Their ‘pattern’ just doesn’t work right.

I’ve been working on my gut health over the past year... Finding what foods I’m sensitive to and decreasing those to rebuild my gut barrier. The main ones for me are dairy, gluten, and sugar. I also take Chinese herbs, Ritual multivitamin, Cielo Pre/Probiotics, hormone replacement therapy including estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. I exercise 30 minutes daily (Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis), six days per week. I do not drink alcohol. Hope that helps. xo
