I too started at a young age at home cutting friends and family along with college roommates before I eventually ended up at barber school. I can tell you with great certainty that if I'd been taught by Larro in my beginning stages, my skill level would've been way more polished for as long as I've been cutting hair much sooner guaranteed. i typically fade the alopecia area first and that determines the rest of my fade or allows me to fade the rest of the head more free as opposed to fading the rest of the area and trying to blend that area in to the rest of the fade.

I just came across your channel, and it’s nice that you use the terminology as you make your cuts, you make it a lot easier to understand the cause and effect. There are so many tutorials on KZbin but they don’t help you break down why, when preparing for a test.

How long has the Oster Classic 76 been around? I remember my barber using it to cut my hair as a kid in the 80s and I always thought the clipper sounded like a hand-held vacuum cleaner. Even when I get my license I'm going to have the 76 in my arsenal.

I would recommend going with the Oster 10 it's very similar to the 76 but smaller and more efficient.
