Lucy visits top racing yard Paul Nicholls Racing who has been champion trainer in the UK for several years. We meet some of the stable stars, understand how the horses are looked after, how they are trained, what they are fed and their daily lives in racing. A unique opportunity to see what goes on.
We meet stable star Frodon who has won over £1 million! An amazing horse with a lovely personality. The latest star on the block Stage Star who is owned by 4000 people and a racehorse who cost over £450k.
We also discuss life after racing and what the yard does to make sure that their racehorses have a quality life after.

I love nosing round different disciplines and areas of horses. I think you can learn so much. Endurance is an area I am keen to know more about so might see if I can do something.

What a great day. Beautiful horses and love the guys attitude and humor. Obviously loves his horses. Have you ever been to Middleham? It's a beautiful village in Yorkshire and the home to many racing yards. They have an open day, I think around Easter time, where you can visit the stables, gallops, swimming pools. Are you part of a syndicate?

One of us has Racing Club membership. We both love TBs and enjoy racing. We are a long way from Yorkshire but have been lucky enough to go to some very nice yards in SW like Pipes and our ex racers came from Alex Dunn. We are not such fans of the flat but love NH.
