We need a replacement for Matic. And Haidara isnt it. Id argue its even a risk to think he is an upgrade on Fred. Its also a signing for a manager who wont be in charge in 4 months

@@JK32768 Ye definately not the best option. Hes another player we will be looking to get rid of in about a years time. Ive also seen United arent interested in doing a deal for him because of this. Kamara for 10m from Marseille would be a good deal. He will be a free agent in the summer but it would be worth getting him now before everyone else tries to sign him

Yeah, I watched a couple of Leipzig games this season because of Nkunku and Gvardiol, and Haidara really surprised me. He gives his all every time he plays, and fights for every single ball (something most of our current players don’t do). He would be a great signing.

Do u even watch kante play . The energy and calmness he bring in nothing comparable. This guy has energy but very frentic. I would say he is more close to fred than kante. Also he plays in bundesliga,epl is very different. I woul rather have zakaria for 6 mil.

Honestly I don't really watch the Bundesliga so I don't know how good he is, but he seems to be more of a Box-to-Box Midfielder rather than a Holding Midfielder and we already have the likes of Fred and McTominay who are more natural Box-to-Box Midfielders themselves. What we need is a proper Pivot who can sit deep and shield the back 4, players like Zakaria, Kamara, Tchouaméni, etc. are more in the mould of what we need. Also Rangnick is only in charge on an interim basis, things haven't improved enough on the pitch for him to get whom he wants. The next manager may not prefer Haidara and might wish to go another way. Yes Rangnick is set to be given a Consultancy role but in the end it's the next manager who's going to implement his own philosophy and system, he's one who's going to pick the team not Rangnick.
