My husband would agree with you Granger. He’s going to be 68 in September and he never stops. He loves working at our little ranch. He says he doesn’t want to get stiff. He has broken just about every bone he has including his back and some of them more than once. My sister has the rocks at her lake house in Tenkiller Oklahoma. I think there’s is a property line. It’s about 3 ft tall. It looks like it’s been there for many years. Maybe yours was the same or a retention wall at one time. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Congratulations on y’alls 100,000 subscribers. You all are loved so much. I can believe how low your ponds are. We have a small one and one end is completely dry. We’re in Texas also. London, I hope you’re back at gymnastics in a couple of weeks. I could not agree with you more! On my days off work since my father passed I have been picking a project around the house and property and working on it. Since October 2018 all new carpet in my house, new paint, new flooring in the kitchen. Now I’m making pallet end tables, entry way bench and sofa table. I make a pot of coffee put a dip in and put me and his favorite artists Merle on low and work. Not only has it been therapeutic but I’m bettering my house. At the end of the day I sit back and thanking him for teaching me the trade and how to work hard for what I want and smile smile at him upstairs

Such a great down to earth family with a wonderful channel. If those rocks are very old I would keep them right where they are. I think the older generations were very hands on and keep going and it seems the more time goes by the less people are like that now. Sad but true! My dad is 75 and never stops. HI SMITH Family!! I wanted to share a moment with you all...As I am watching this latest KZbin installment and Granger started talking about virtuous labor I had to stop the video and go get my son to watch it with me. My son is having an extremely hard time right now, he is autistic and having difficulties with finding employment and has been trying to work through the social challenge of interacting with society and trying to fit in....he is beyond frustrated and discouraged and feels like he is never going to fit in. At the same time he is also extremely frustrated with the lack of exactly what you have described "virtuous labors". You see his number one male role model and mentor " my Dad his Grandfather" (Dad has gone to live a better life now, with our Heavenly Father) would work with him with virtuous labors and you are so so right that it brings a balance like nothing else can in life. I shared the video with him and as of right now he is frustrated with the lack of help from a male role model. I can't explain how at the exact moment I needed to see this video and one of tis message happened other then I truly believe God puts people and other events in our life's when they are needed. So, from the bottom of my heart Thank You for sharing parts of your lives with us.

I usually love being outdoors but my spouse is in the military. And where we are now and have been for almost 3 years there’s not many places to go explore without having to pay money or buy something to go on trails. Idk but here it’s been like a less motivating place specially because we came here after my youngest and only brother passed away and there wasn’t much happiness or motivating things going on for me. I’ve gained to much weight and hope I can lose it soon. But I think it’s true what you say about being outdoors and just doing stuff even around your home is very good, because your improving your property or living area. That’s how the places that people fall in love with a home or someone sees and say oh wow that’s beautiful. Because some take pride where they live and make it look beautiful.

I LOVE the idea of moving the rocks to the pond. I live in Southeast Texas so I dont have beautiful rock just laying around but if I did, this is what I would do with them. I've been begging my husband to let me get those huge landscaping rocks (looks like huge moss rock) a couple at a time. I can just envision the beauty. I have a monstrous Cape Jasmine Bush (about the size of 2 large trucks) that when we have a lot of rain, will stand in the water. I would love to make that area a main focal point across the pond. When in bloom I can smell that sweet smell of jasmine all the way up to my backdoor.

They are definitely old stone walls/fencing.from the 1700-1800's. You should be able to find what kinda looks like a sinkhole a couple of feet deep with some stones in and around it and that would be an old cellar to the house where they kept their food stored to keep it cooler. And if you were to metal detect around there you should find old stuff like tools and coins and things. Maybe try and trace your land back to the 1800s and find out who used to own it.

Looks like an old rock wall to me! We have one that goes up the woods behind our house for miles. Amazing to think of all the hard work that went into building them back in the day. Love your family and think about you often. Hope you enjoyed your time at the NY state fair

We have rocks like that at our ranch in Mason , they were rock walls or fences around 20% of ours are still standing . I believe there are some like it in George Town still at the blue hole / San Gabriel that are still standing , but I could be wrong , it’s been a while since I’ve been there.
