I had to stop and make a comment. Your videos and instructions are incredible! Let explain how awesome you are....I have a special needs daughter that graduated last year. There is not a lot for special need adults to do. I am always looking for stuff to keep her busy. First of all, you explain things so clear and simple ( wish you were my college professor!) Second your music is always so soothing which helps when trying to keep the attention and control the speed that a special needs person is dealing with. Third, your cost of the project is so reasonable and whatever is not used can go towards another project. Fourth she loves blessing people with gifts- what you show makes it possible. Fifth, it gives her so much pride. Thank you for your time skill and willingness to share!

Kelly, hi a very nice diy, using a book from dollar tree very ingenious and yes so amazing craft idea.thank you for sharing with us.👍👍❤️❤️🌸🌸
@TodaysSpecialMinis5 жыл бұрын
Interesting concept, but requires a large space both horizontally and vertically. I think this would look great using smaller paperbacks, like old romance novels. And this would probably suit a reading room, craft room, kids room/play room, daycare. I think it has a lot of presence and needs a large space to really shine especially if you use books that big. But it's a nice idea nonetheless! I can think of several places something like this would be really great - a classroom (i.e. WELCOME or the current school year), in a library (i.e. READ, IMAGINE, SHHH), or as garden art (i.e. GROW, BLOOM, SHINE), a nursery (i.e. SHHH, DREAM, LOVE, SLEEP), a play area (i.e. PLAY, DANCE, SING), or a church meeting room or home prayer room (i.e. PRAY, PRAISE, WORSHIP, BELIEVE).

That would be an amazing gift! So amazing. You did an excellent job Kelly! Will be back for more diys! I have so many canvas prints from DT in a storage box to alternate in and out. But I’m wondering once i get tired of it what kind of diys I can do. Perhaps you can draw some inspiration on using the canvases and do something with that next diy? Something rustic and modern. Not too farmhouse, but some Kelly flair! Kind of like the stones in the frame with the words on it i just watched, i thought that was a perfect diy for my style! A couple of suggestions for what to do with the books: Read them. Offer them to a friend or family member who might read them. Donate them to a public or school library who would lend them to people who would read them. Donate them to a thrift shop that could raise money for its charity by selling them to people who would read them. Sell them yourself in a yard sale to people who would..., etc.
