I think all the cooling definitely did its job. Without it, the damage probably would've been exponentially worse and the piston(s) would've melted 100%. Such a crazy car, it won for a reason. 🏆

Muriatic Acid will melt the deposits of aluminum right out of the cylinder. Make sure NOT to breath the fumes though. I have done this on high performance moto cross engines many times. Just a thought for some interesting content.

Whenever I'm working my Duramax I let it idle and cool down before shutting off. If I have to leave my truck,, I'll shut it off and lock the doors and restart with the remote. I'm trying to extend the life of everything. I've got almost 200,000 miles on it. I run Stanadyne Lubricity improver as this is an LML with the CP4. I've thought about a FASS system

Matt is the worst at burn outs. Not in the quality of them but in that he mashes the accelerator to the floor and keeps it there. Need to put like a block of wood under the peddle just so he stops blowing motors
