As a Christian I just love how *QS 7:157* gets Muslims *BUSTED* over laughable false claims that: 1) the Torah and Injeel given to Moses and Jesus disappeared from the face of the earth! When did they disappear? Before or After the time of Muhammad? 2) the Jews and Christians had the Torah and Gospel but these were somehow mystical "books" which were not in written form. In the mind of the Muslims, the *Gospel* books (consisting of Mathew, Mark Luke and John, all of whom contribute to the one gospel message of the death and resurrection of Jesus for the salvation of the sins of mankind) are not the revelation (Injil/Gospel) "given to Jesus". The one revealed to Jesus disappeared without trace before the time of Muhammad. Mmmm. So easy, so convenient... But is this what the Qur'an actually teaches? *QS7:157 SAHIH INTERNATIONAL* Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they *find written* in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful. So, in what form were the Torah and Gospel? The verse is as clear as daylight! The Torah and Injeel were with the Jews and Christians [Ahl al-Kitāb (the people of the book)] in *written form* at the time of the revelation of the Qur’an (in the 7th century of Muhammad)! In Islam, a book is not a book! *IBN-KATHIR* 157. Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write whom they *find written* of with them in the Tawrah and the Injil, - he commands them to do good; and forbids them from evil; he makes lawful for them the good things, and forbids them from the evil things, he releases them from their heavy burdens and from the fetters that were upon them. So those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him, it is they who will be successful. So, what happened to the widely circulated Injil which was with the Christians in the 7th century? Historically and archeologically the Injil which the Christians have had with them before and after Muhammad are the books of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John! If these are false books written by *anonymous writers,* why then did early Islamic scholars authoritatively quote from them, thereby exposing the hypocrisy of modern day Muslims? One of Islam's important scholar, Ibn Ishaq, (died around 767 AD), who wrote the oldest biography (called the “Sira” or “Sirat” of the prophet of Islam), quotes John 15:23-16:1 and says that it is taken from the Gospel (Injeel) of Jesus Al Masih, "which the Apostle John wrote down for Jesus's followers." [The Life of Muhammad: A Translation of Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah pp.103-104]. The *cognitive dissonance* of Muslims: "the book of John is false and not the Injil but we believe Muhammad is the spirit of truth found in the book of John." Amazing! Dear Muslim, did you know that historically and archeologically, *before* Muhammad they were already complete manuscripts (which are still available today) of the Bible such as the *Codex Vaticanus* from the 4th century and the *Codex Alexandrinus* (with Mathew, Mark, Luke and John) from the 5th century which contain the majority of the Greek Old Testament and the Greek New Testament *identical to the scriptures we have today?* Whichever update, version or translation of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John of any year or century, *the message has never changed:* Jesus Christ is the eternal *WORD* who became incarnate (added the form of a man to his divine nature), will *RESURRECT, JUDGE* mankind and give *ETERNAL LIFE* to those who believe in his death and resurrection and keep his commands. The areas outside or that surround Masjid Nabawi and Kaaba become commercial centers. I was there in 2014 for my Hajj pilgrimage and I observe that some pilgrims went to Hajj not for fulfilling their Hajj obligation but for commercial purposes, e.g., buying golds and other items for business purposes such as reselling them at their countries of origins. I do not question these pilgrims but they must prioritize their amaal first and foremost before worldly materials. Consequently, the Saudi authority should ban any business belonging to Israel corporations, e.g., the STARBUCKS, etc. Undeniably, the profits are funding the Israel Operations Annihilation of Palestinians.
