Sumit, just seeing your goofy smile makes me chuckle every single time! You've come a long way since your first material, back when you had child-like glimmer in your eyes. Remember seeing you in 2018, you were fun, the set - absolutely hilarious, fresh and free flowing! .... Perhaps the frustrations of working in a shitty corporate job translated so naturally into fun anecdotes and stories. Every young working professional in their mid 20's could relate to it. Saw you again in 2020, content and delivery - impeccable! But something about your demeanour hints that it's been a long, arduous personal journey for you. You seem more self-reflective. Doesn't look like you're working in a cushy/shitty job anymore but by the looks of it, does seem like you've been traveling alone extensively and figuring out your place in the grand scheme of things. Relate to you more as a person now than as a comedian sharing common city-boy stories - the child-like wonder of looking at life slowly fading and being replaced by the weight of world in just getting on with the next day (not to say life is depressing but living in a fast-paced world checking off chores everyday no inherent meaning like a robot). Most of us early 30's folks living in metros can relate to it. Don't care so much if the content is not as fun as it used to be - because when it was, it truly was something that no Indian comedian could match ! But hope things are good with you man. Pen your thoughts but don't share them publicly till you're confident it won't interfere with the perceptions of your viewers, towards you as a comedian. This is a time when the quality of content < how important is is to be seen everyday as a creator everyday. It's ruthless and we know you're a lazy, adorable guy :) Traveling without a purpose just pushes one further away from finding any meaning. Give a thought about how you can still be the best in the genre, by letting this be a fun, little escape rather than embracing it as a career. No one to give anyone advice, probably is not even the case- just my brain picking up on your eyes and micro expressions, relating my journey with what you might be going through. Just know that we look forward to seeing you every-time, listening to your stupid stories but more importantly hearing that goofy and infectious laughter again, coming straight from the heart !
