I remember when they flew to Greece to play Olympiacos(1st game btw) they were at Kaunas AirPort and at the time i was going back to Norway so i see the Žalgiris bus and i was freaking out. I go inside to the second floor and i see Šarūnas Jasikevičius i Shake his and, and i meat Milaknis Jankūnas every single player. And i wish them luck they took 3rd place wow Best day of my life fr

Still remember that series, not very fond of the result tbh 😭 But our team was hammered with injuries, Papanikolaou actually missed a game I think, Printezis wasn't ready (foot injury), Milutinov got injured and on top of all that, Mantzaris regressed a lot compared to the previous season, for some reason we let Hackett go and lost Birch to the NBA, it was pretty much the start of the downfall of Oly for the years 2018-2021 ig So glad we're back on a good level again
