Hi Liz, lovely to see you. I've listened to your jazz CD during last lockdown. No French holiday for us this year but we have moved house which's been a big change. Thanks for vlogging again. X

Hello Liz, I'm sorry to hear about your dear Dad's passing. From your previous vlogs I got the impression that you were close to him and quite involved in his daily life - then recently he living with you too. I imagine his loss would be a great adjustment for you and as you mentioned, perhaps one that you hadn't fully realised until very recently. Grief, in all it's forms has a way of catching up with us. It's lovely that you can relax and unwind in his garden. Therapy in itself! It looks so peaceful there and I see great potential in it's restoration - it's a great space. The Liquid Amber tree is magnificent too! Great to see/hear you again - look forward to your next chat :)

Love your new look, it brings out your eyes! So sorry to hear of your dad passing, I also lost my dad this year in June. I looked after him to the end so I can relate to the stress and trauma but ‘m so glad I did it. Take care, hope you have more vlogs.

My partner of 27 years passed away from cancer in 2020. He couldn’t get any treatment due to Covid. He was my rock and i miss him so much. I am totally alone now so its all been a difficult time for me. I have been lucky and found a lady from my local church who visits me a couple of times a week to go on walks as i have young onset Parkinsons and was confined to my home when my partner died. I hope that as time moves on, i will begin to feel more positive. I used to watch your channel regularly until you stopped vlogging so was happy when you popped up on my youtube this morning (5 August) .am looking forward to catching up on all your news. Sorry to hear about your dad. Sue (swansea)

I'm so glad you're back - I've missed your big-sisterly advice and great vlogs! I've tried to keep up with you on Instagram and was sad when you shared the news about losing your Dad. My Mum passed away last November aged 89, and it was devastating, although I'm glad she didn't have to go through lockdown. At the time I had a look at some of your old videos, particularly the one about your Mum, which brought me a lot of comfort. Things like losing your parents and Covid, etc, make you reassess your life, and I decided to give up my job in April after 10 years of not being happy there. I feel guilty for not working, but drawing and being creative (making videos too!) keeps me sane (kind of!)!! Please keep creating your vlogs - I've missed them so much! ^_^

Aw this is such a lively encouraging comment. So sorry to hear about your mum. I’m glad you decided to make a shift job-wise. There’s no point in doing something that you’re not happy in. Liz xxx

So glad you’re doing ok. It’s hard to remain in isolation. I play guitar and sing whenever I feel stressed or down. Music is very healing and seems to take me to my happiness zone. I find piano and reading music less enjoyable, but, guitar is much easier. Learning a few chords is enough to get started singing along to many songs! Writing songs is fun, too. Drawing, painting, pastels, etc. are also great outlets. I am missing my daughters and grandchildren. That has been the most difficult thing I’ve been dealing with... praying for a good, reliable vaccine ASAP! Take care & God bless everyone, everywhere.🙏🏻😍🇺🇸🌹🌊🌊🌊💙🙏🏻
