Same story in my kneck of the woods with planting an dodging rain drops . Alfalfa fields looking thick green an lush. I can only imagine how high the windrows would be when merged before chopping.

Thanks for the update. It's hard to look at rain during planting as a positive, but with the little snow last winter the moisture should help a lot.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Great to get an update on the planting. Just curious, do you get any pressure from deer in your area. I follow OLF and he’s had plenty to talk about in the past where he is located, just wondering if it’s different for you in your area. If not do you do anything special like Wes does, planting sideways on the end rows to seal the field from deer or any other tricks. OLF is the only farmer I’ve ever talk about doing that. Nice to see the Mud puppies having fun, guessing they got baths later on. Wishing you and your family the best.

It's hard to remain optimistic when you're dealing with less than ideal planting conditions, but over the years, I've watched you pull more than one rabbit out of the hat. Keep on pluggin away brother, cause you've got this!

My annual prayer for this season..may your harvest go better than expected and may storage be a concern during the harvest. Hopefully this year goes super smooth, and commodity prices soar high. Happy subscriber 😊!

Thanks for bringing us along. Spring planting was delayed quite a few weeks here as well due to an extremely wet winter and spring. At least the last 4 weeks have been dry and sunny, so there's been tractors running everywhere. Take care and have a great day.

Thanks for the update. I still enjoy listening because I continue to pick up nuggets. Question.. do you set the width of your field for full planter passes or are there partial rows left on the last pass?

Thoughts on renting/trying a roller or packer after planting beans to flatten it out? Maybe worth a trial on some acres.

How about a video of some sort it's been 3 weeks and I'm sure you have video of cutting hay bye now unless you didn't take camera or turn it on. Even an update video of some sort would be nice
