Looking at some PvP and Gear Changes! - Lotr: Rise to War [Server 0511 - Episode 2]

Some of my considerations in the video that I would love feedback on! -Higher focus gear on GTW (+30 focus but losing some initiative) -More unit defense on Sauron (swapping my helm and accessory to get more unit def but losing initiate) -Swapping Gil's gear to focus on unit attack over defense -Possibly bringing a second damage commander into the line up (I am hesitant to do this, especially since we're in Loth) Let me know if you have any thoughts on the above :)

I tried an offensive Gil Galad some time ago and have to say that since the last update the results were underwhelming. So I'd not suggest going that path. Another DD is IMO a better option to get more offensive power.

A totally different option would be redoing the Sauron build going for more Focus, which would help with his R4, and perhaps building him differently for more offense. I have to admit that I don't have Sauron and don't know whether there is another viable build besides the typical tank Sauron. But two tanks, Sauron and Gil, might be too much.

Torin r3 r5 deal good demage and give to another com over 30 k demage ...my formacion Torin,Frodo ,Falgin,Boromir ..i waiting Helm and remove Boromir ...Frodo and Falgin hold great i stop us GG ,Dain they lose much

The new relocation system sucks, healing needs a buff along with troop damage commanders that way the meta can be shaken up

We're on the same server, nice! We played against Bear last season, they are usually pretty tough. I got started 3 days late and haven't been able to play as much these days so I am also fairly behind level wise.

If you want to run 2 DD's you should run Shadow- he pairs great with Sauron. You can use focus damage gear on him and still get very good results. I use Riddermark and golden pipe on my Beorn/ Shadow/KoM

I see weak clan with all season have army level 45 46 or 47. And in some days like 3 or 4 days they show up with all army 50 level. They get boosted somehow and everybody in server was talking about this. I never did boost or I never understand boost but can someone tell how they did that

Hi Atme, for Gil I would recommend high troop defense gear and playing a tank unit like guardians, it's how most use him. I would also add another DD in your formation because 3 support and 1 DD like your formation only works with a high level dain

Hey buddy! I replaced my Gil with another DD and I am seeing so much more success. My gil was only r5 but had fully strengthened BiS troop dmg gear with Marchwardens and was struggling. I think moving Cestaro as a focus DD in your main is a good call!

I've seen gil put out a lot of unit attack with the right gear and with alliance leader

On Gil you want to at least put 5 points into the R0 to get the stun

I think you need little more command on gill . Refine gear could make difference if you battle whaled meta .

You need to find refine more saurons weapon helm and accesoory even when you lose 1 star here 1 star there it won't affect as much as the command of sauron

I would just Drop Gil for Cestaro. And move Gil’s gear to GTW and put high focus on Cestaro. Also Eleven Hauberk is BIS on Dain.

But yeah, you defo wanna switch to unit attack for Gil and unit attack gear. Put Gils gear on Sauron (Casque, Haubark and Harp with Fortitude) and also refine the Reckoning to get his command up. I would shoot for over 500+ command on Sauron

Attack gil where you drop his r4 skill and go r2 instead can prob do more like 60-80k dmg not huge but it would help. Also make sure to have top r0 5/10 prio before finishing anything besides evasion.

Gil is now trash now and unit attack is useless. Troops still don't do enough damage. I'm telling you as a member of Yudz.

Hello you from Yudz. If you remember in clan rucs (new null) from mordor. And you guys was in erebor. they did boost. Everybody have all army level 50 and everybody was talking about this . Can you tell me how they did that. And how do a boost?

They leave a clan so everybody attack they main army and get level 50 and come back to clan. Or something like this

@@allthingsmiddleearth I think Gil is still totally fine. I see some of our Krakens get really good results with him. As another comment pointed out, the 1 DD strat is kind of for someone who has a Zenith Dain with all the gear refined or close to it. As someone else pointed out as well, your second formation looks maybe a bit better. In that one, I'd switch out WK for Sauron, but that's up to you.
