Have the new ones got rubber inserts to stop the rod sliding my standard plus and TXI's I had to cut an inner tube up and glue tiny squares for my rods .

we do not have rubber inserts as they perish over time but we have designed the moulding to fit the rods better.

Yes, only it doesn't fill the etire gap but they sure fit.

I was wondering why the old ev plus go for around 80 second hand, i asked on totaly carp why and everyone said cos the new ones are to complicated and fiddly on the bank. Just watched this and wow yes they are and i will just pay over the odds for the old ev plus.

Ev-Ds are simply turn on and go. The have only 3 functions. Mute, LED brightness and Tone. Not sure why that would be seen as over complicated?
