Over the last few days I have learned that there are a lot more professional hockey leagues than I ever imagined. I have always hated watching hockey on tv, but it’s one of the best sports to watch live in my opinion.

Jokerit probably joined the KHL because of the money that was involved in it. Hjallis Harkimo, who had the majority of Jokerit-shares, is known as a businessman, and regrets his businesses in Russia due to the current geopolitical situation. Also, he is running for president and is a member of parliament for his own party which he created.

ne huutelijat on yleensä nimenomaan niitä ei Tamperelaisia jos ny vähän saa puolustaa, tosin itte en tykkää Kalpafaneista yhtään ku tuntuu että Kuopiolaiset vihaa Tapparaa enemmän ku rakastaa Kalpaa mikä on aika säälittävää imo. :D

@@darthdickhead6880 ite vihaan Tapparaa koska asuin Tampereen lähellä 16vuotta ja olin tietty ainoo KalPa fani ja lähinnä Tappara fanit sit aina vittuili ja oli ylimielisiä yms. Nykyään toki Kuopiossa asun nii ei tarvi kuunnella nii paljoa. Tiedän myös mukavia Tappara faneja ja asiallisia mut suurin osa keihin oon tavannut ollu iha vitu perseestä muihi verrattuna.

Vaasa has a new icehall since 2020-2021 which is a lot more modern and actually very beautiful on the inside. Not as fancy as nokia arena though.

Sometimes the larger arenas aren't always better. I just looked up that arena and it looks very, very nice. I love those steps leading up to the entrance.

Actually, everybody from other cities loves city of Tampere, and it is choice the best city of Finland many times! I live in Tampere and my team is Ilves. We have all the time little bit fight with Tappara fans but that is actually fun🤭😜

You were spot on! Been living few years now in Tampere and my workplace is strictly divided between Ilves and Tappara fans, Tappara fans being totally intolerable with their arrogance. I have heard that fans of Ilves are from Tampere city center (urban people), and Tappara fans are more from countryside.

I miss the 90s Sm-liiga. It was hands down the second best hockey league in the world. Majority of the best finnish players still played there, and they had some great foreign players aswell. Now it's watered down prospect league, and not on par with Swedish or Swizz league. Even the best finnish players who are not in NHL choose to go to Switzerland or Sweden.
