I’m convinced the commissioner forced this trade for ratings purposes. It’s such a terrible trade and just the fact they fielded no other offers, didn’t even get much in return (could’ve had a record amount of picks), and it was done covertly in the middle of the night make it all the more suspicious. Mavs GM should be getting fired over this. Luka should’ve been one of like 5 guys in the league right now that is untouchable

The only reason I don’t agree is because the mavs also fired everybody working for the organization that was super close to Luka. Honestly it feels like the owners and GM were being as petty as you can possibly be. They intentionally made him miss out on the super max. Fired everyone he was close to and called him fat the whole time lol. This is the biggest self inflicted injury I’ve ever seen in professional sports.

If they literally waited one year and gave Luka the super max and then trade him. They can literally get almost anything they want from any team for Luka. It’s genuinely the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen…

This trade makes zero sense, there’s something shady going on, why would they limit the amount of offers by keeping it a secret and only dealing with lakers, surely if u wanted the biggest haul u would put the offer out there, it was a secret in the middle of the night and no one knew about it, someone should do some research about the mavs owners and see if they do any real estate dealings in LA because that’s the only thing I can think of

@@steven2189 the mavs GM use to work for Nike, and when he was working at Nike him and rob pelinka became friends. It was either rob pelinka or rich Paul I can’t remember. But he’s friends with someone in the lakers organization. I think that’s why it was hush hush in the middle of the night. Because it was 2 friends doing business together and they didn’t want anyone else to know

@@greghogan7770I’m from NJ , Yankees are the local team my grandfather & uncle are huge Yankee fans , I started watching baseball & the other two sports in the early 2003 so I didn’t see my teams win a title for a while. Colts are because my great grandfather was from Baltimore & passed it down to my uncle & then my uncle passed it to me & the lakers was because Kobe is my favorite athlete ever. I’m very far from a bandwagon. Pal you can miss me with that , Especially the lakers sucking for most of the 2010s & the colts we haven’t won a division in a decade my 3 teams outside of the lakers in 2020 haven’t done anything in 15 years 😂. 2009 almost hit the trifecta for championships though that was cool haha.
