Looking Back: Alternative Photography in the Digital Age

Wow! You sure do know how to propagate nostalgia. I like the creativity that stirs these passionate photographers to combine technology, new with old. It’s a never ending progress where one can be as creative as he wants, as long as he wants because he’s not dependent on any company (apart film). These technologies have been there for years for anyone to flirt with and I can understand why they bring newcomers to join the club. I particularly like when Daniel Estabrook talked about how he taught a class to see ‘The History of Photography in Reverse’ - working backwards from IPhones and IPads (starting at 1:02:30). What a refreshing PoV to compare past with present and what it reveals. Great Podcast - now tagged it in my ‘Favorites’. Thanks to everyone who participated!
