Nice review. My major concern with this printer after approx 1 month: software and documentation are an absolute nightmare! Compatibility issues, unexplained error messages, poor documentation (for example the accounting module simply refuses to be installed „for compatibility issues“ on a windows 10 notebook. it just seems Canon brought this printer out and never cared about updating software. Also it remains a Mystery why I need to set the paper type on the printer and in the canon software. Having said that - the prints are absolutely fantastic!

So, I really like the video...but you didn't talk about paper stock. What recommend paper stock is recommended. You did mention the largest size but no breakdown of range. Again, dig the video. Looking to buy one of these based off of reviews. Still not completely sold on it. Again, do appreciate that guy's like you take the time to make these videos, cause at the end of the day, I trust a consumer that has one over some guy at B&H trying to sell me one.

This is terrible review. You spent most of the time showing your face, which is narcissistic. And then you showed a paltry few very small sized prints. Forget about making review videos, you just don't have the mind for it.

Have you figured out how to do 17x25 prints? I've been having hell trying to figure out how to do that. The new driver from I'm not sure how long ago was suppose to update it to be able to print larger. I've downloaded whatever the newest driver and still no 17x25 setting.

3 different Canon Pro-1000 printers have chopped up my letter size Canon pro luster paper on the ends. I've tried everything. Sent 2 printers back and now the 3rd one does it also. Anyone idea why or how I can fix this?

Thank you a lot for this great video review. I own this printer for more than a year now and I highly recommend it for everyone who wants to print high quality photographs up to the paper size of A2. I only buy genuine Canon ink and paper, and I have recently bought a full 12 ink cartridge set for $60 for every single cartridge, which has a capacity of 80ml each. Also, I bought a spare maintenance cartridge, assuming it will be filled very soon and therefore want to avoid being stuck without the ability to print. I bought the inks and the photo paper from B&H website.
