I enjoyed this show and how they portrayed the emerald archer, I even enjoy how they portrayed the villains like bronze tiger, dead shot, and clock king,but I think black Canary origin was hard to enjoy, but I still liked it.

Loved the review; I loved the Arrowverse in its entirety, I still feel like this universe was first live-action DC property to be actually good…imo. Would love to hear your take on the other season as well as other the other shows in the Arrowverse.

Arrow season 1 is my favorite because of the drama of having a secret identity and and having that dual personality. Also the realism is amazing and the fight scenes but the dark knight trilogy to shame. The fights were realistic but also looked cool. Lastly stephens preformance as present day and past is amazing, you feel the change in the past him being timid and scared and all that then in present he is serious, broody. To put in shprt season 1 is my favorite because it was pure secret identity. Which is why i wish what season 1 was lasted for two seasons and then season 3 more people find out. Love this show so much!

Arrow got me into The Flash and DC Legends of Tomorrow and boy did those two fall off a cliff. Luckily we got Arrow which was pretty solid all the way through the series

In away I Owe a lot to Arrow, the First and Foremost it Helped me give this other show a second chance. As it also deals in Heavy Flashbacks to tell the story. And now I’m Pretty Much Obsessed with the show ‘Once Upon A Time’. The second is Stephen Amell is one of the embodiments of my preference of Non Powered Superheroes should not be taunting, the Bank Robbers as I feel they can’t afford it. Then third is he helped kicked off one of my unknowingly Favourite Universes of all time the Arrowverese. To which as most my if not all of my Favourite Versions of Various DC Characters. And I just feel that Justin Hartley’s just simply Looks and Feels way too much Put Together At The Last Minute Make Shift For A Cosplay Custom Personally. Unlike Stephen Amell’s which looks and feels Comic Accurate even though it wasn’t at the time, put at least it also looks and feels well thought out, from both the Character and the Custom Designers. Which is why I’m so glad that after the Primer of Arrow or some time there after the Comics started using Stephen Amell’s Version of the Green Arrow Custom. Then last thing is Stephen Amell doesn’t need some kind of Special Sunglasses to Help him Aim that much more Better unnecessarily unlike…..well you know? And I know that these last three had nothing to do with me owning Arrow but still is the reason why I like the Show Arrow so much. And I guess the Bonus reason would be his catch phrase of “…..You Have Failed This City” so much I use it all of the time whenever I feel some one has let me down and has disappointed me that much. I also forgot to add in even the show is done I still like to make, it a Holiday Tradition every year to watch one of the Many Crossover Events, in addition to a Mid Season Final Christmas Episodes for at least one of the shows. As just the thought of going a Holiday Season with out it just wouldn’t feel right. That would be like a December with out Santa Claus or Christmas Carols. It just wouldn’t feel right.

The most impressive thing about this show to me is that it was good despite being bad. in the first season they really didn't have the show nailed down, it was kinda all over the place and hadn't found it's voice yet (like so many shows) but instead of being a season you just Get Through on your way to the good stuff- it's already good stuff! They enough of the winning formula on screen by the end of the season that it's pretty clear why we wanted more. (Though I didn't like Tommy and I'm glad they killed him, sorry Rowan!) My girlfriend's mom recommended this show to me during the first season and I got pretty into it. The cast is very well put together, Oliver's basement HQ was a cool element especially with all the diy stuff. Another thing I like is you can see the actors getting more proficient at their stunts so the fight choreography gets better and longer- by s5-ish we're getting long uncut fights between multiple groups, it's really impressive. Oliver's voice to stop killing is an important part of his arc and I think it's well set-up in the first season.

Arrow seasons 1 and 2 were pretty awesome. After that it was mostly downhill, like the rest of the Arrowverse. Subsequent Arrow seasons were very hit and miss. And for me, Felicity eventually grew to become so insufferable it was hard to watch. That said, Arrow stayed more consistently watchable than any other Arrowverse show. Like Arrow, Flash started really strong with a great season 1 and 2, but unlike Arrow, Flash was practically unwatchable by the end. From what I understand, a lot of this shift in quality and tone had to do with the unceremonious removal of Andrew Kreisberg from the CW shows. Also, killing off Deadshot wasn't a "misstep." Apparently it was an edict from Warners due to not wanting the character "slumming it" on the CW when they had the Suicide Squad movie coming out. Similarly, Superman & Lois has just been cancelled due to James Gunn not wanting it on TV while his Superman Legacy film is coming out in theaters. So James Gunn has officially murdered not one, but TWO Supermen. RIP Henry Cavil and RIP Tyler Hoechlin. James Gunn should shave his head and change his last name to Luthor.

I really enjoyed Arrow (never finished it) but as a Green Arrow fan definitely found him to be more like Bruce Wayne/Batman due to the broody/serious personality he had. It was still great though. I think the first season was absolutely the best, but think I only made it to about s5 or something

This is my favorite season of the show. With that being said It's fall started in s3. That’s because they fundamentally misunderstood and watered-down a core intellectual foil Batman villain in Ra’s Al Ghul. He was created to be Batman’s Moriarty since Batman is Holmes level as a legendary polymathic intellectual and Detective. Which is something Oliver isn't so to sell ot they took away Ra’s intellect so he can compete. Lastly it also had the start of Olicity drama and Oliver stupidly defending Malcolm.

I watched the first two seasons and was watching the Flash also. I can't remember if I started season 3 or not but I loved what i watched. just living situations changed and I lost netflix for a while. Once I got my own netflix... I just haven't gone back yet.

Loved the Review like you I’ve been a massive Green Arrow fan before the Arrowverse & before he appeared in smallville. Would love for you to do more Green Arrow content . Like you said both Justin Hartley & Stephen Amell both nail the portrayal of both Oliver queen / Green Arrow so can’t wait to see if the DCU use GA & who they will cast. Maybe you can make another channel dedicated to Green Arrow & call it the quiver lol

I discovered arrow when i was scrolling through Netflix I saw the first episode i was hooked I didn't see season 3 that much cuz Netflix didn't have it at the time. So when I watched it on the cw it was on season 4 at the time
