Charm School is a reality television series airing on VH1; a spin-off of Flavor of Love created by executive producers Cris Abrego and Mark Cronin. The first season, called Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School, is hosted by comedian Mo'Nique and features thirteen contestants from the first two seasons of Flavor of Love. The second season, called Rock of Love: Charm School is hosted by Sharon Osbourne and features fourteen contestants from the first two seasons of Rock of Love with Bret Michaels. The third season, called Charm School with Ricki Lake is hosted by Ricki Lake and features contestants from Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels and from Real Chance of Love. The show ostensibly acts as a finishing school for its contestants that helps develop proper etiquette. Season 1 offered a prize of $50,000, while Seasons 2 and 3 doubled the amount to $100,000. All three seasons offered the title of "Charm School Queen."
Flavor of Love charters unmarked territory in celebreality, taking a pimped up ride on the rollercoaster of love. In the show, each contestant is given a nickname by Flav and is referred to by that nickname for as long as she remains in the competition, as Flav says he can remember nicknames more so than real names. Flavor of Love features a clock ceremony where contestants who are not eliminated receive gold clocks to wear around their necks with their picture and nickname behind the hands of the clock. When a contestant is eliminated, her real name is then revealed, followed by a champagne toast.
I Love New York is a reality television series featuring Tiffany "New York" Pollard on a quest to find her true love. The series first aired on VH1 as a spin off to Flavor of Love, another relationship competition series, which featured Pollard as a finalist in two consecutive seasons.
The winner of the show's first season, Tango (Patrick S. Hunter) failed to deliver as New York's soul mate. When the second season aired, Tailor Made (George Weisgerber) was revealed as New York's chosen flame. (Weisgerber and Pollard later separated during the taping of New York Goes to Hollywood.)
In addition to Pollard, a host of other individuals from Flavor of Love, including "Sister" Patterson (Pollard's mother), appeared on the show to help Pollard choose the right man. Mauricio Sanchez played New York's assistant, "Chamo," during the first season. The production of a second season of I Love New York was first announced during a commercial break for the April 29, 2007, episode of Charm School. After the show was wrapped up, the house was used for another VH1 show, Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School.
Rock of Love with Bret Michaels is an American reality television dating game show. It stars Bret Michaels, the lead singer from the band Poison. The show closely resembles its sister show Flavor of Love. The first season featured 25 women competing to be Michaels' girlfriend. Each week, the women face challenges, the winner of which gets to go on a date with Michaels. Some of the challenges were based on situations that they might encounter if chosen to be Michaels' girlfriend. The first season winner was 24-year-old Jes Rickleff from Naperville, Illinois. At the reunion, she revealed that she did not have romantic feelings for Michaels, and that she thought that he should have chosen the runner-up, Heather.
Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business is an American reality television series that premiered on VH1 on April 11, 2010. This series follows the family and its business, notably the transition of power as Sonja prepares to hand Rn'B's day-to-day operations to Brandy and Ray J.

Lets look at it this way as well...Cali is NOTORIOUS for gang life....if Brandy was to never succeed and Sonja was the mom working 2-3 jobs, she wouldve seen 1st hand of Ray getting swept away in that life and there would no telling who Bran would be! Fame is a gift and a curse. We seen the gifts in the 90s and early 2000s and this show displays the curse!

Aww, it is a tough job being a parent, mothers especially are extremely emotional and care so much about how they are perceived by their children., There is so much guilt felt on both side of the spectrum and a lack of knowledge results in a lack of compassion and understanding that is manifested in both the parents and their children relationship. I am grateful to this family for sharing their vulnerability with us, I am grateful for the openness of this family which truly give us the viewers a new insight that makes us examine some of the issues within our own families, that are very similar. Watching this family helps us to judge matters with a different prospective and not just from the short-sighted view that many of us dwelt on before learning from this family. It is interesting to see how Brandy hurts because she felt that her mum have mostly been there as a manager and less as her mum to her, and Ray-J would be expected to be resentful towards his mum for neglecting him to focus on being Brandy's manager, yet he does not bask in resentment instead he is the sweetest brother who is very protective and honourable to his sister and is comfortable being her biggest supporter whilst pushing himself to make him own money. This family have stayed together because of the unconditional love Ray-J Senior have for his wife. It is precious to witness his loyalty to his wife and children. It is true that us women are definitely more emotional beings. We desire norturing and would literally become depress if that nurturing is absent in our lives. The two men in this family balances off the overflowing of emotions from the two women. God balanced this family perfectly. Thank you Senior Ray-J for teaching your Ray-J Junior how to be confident and contended with himself. You have a beautiful family. I love the balance that exist in your family. God bless you all, keep appreciating, understanding and being compassionate to one another.
