Looking down on a total solar eclipse from 14,000 ft in a Phoenix motorglider over Exmouth in WA

On April 20, 2023 a total solar eclispe clipped the Australian mainland at Exmouth in Western Australia. I flew across the continent in my Phoenix motorglider to be position at 14,000ft with the unique chance to see the shadow of the moon passing underneath as I went through totality.
While over 20,000 people on the ground were looking up, I was in the air looking down and captured this unique view of a spectaluar show of physics and nature.

the shadow moves at quite a speed , hard to capture , I think you really need to be higher. still a great effort.
