One free simple way to cover up that huge hole in the wet bay, would be to get a #10 can cover from any restaurant, drill a hole on the outside edge, and use a single SS screw as the pivot point.

Nicely done ! I wanted to let you know that your recommended bike rack specifically states in the manual, "DO NOT INSTALL on a trailer or other towed vehicle." With this instruction in the manual a person would be liable for any damage or injuries caused when using it behind a trailer/5th wheel. Of course this review is not a trailer, but you also include it on some of your trailer/5th wheel reviews. Bike racks, especially for heavy eBikes that are approved for trailers and 5th wheels are hard to find. We got the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes and it works great on our truck and/or trailer.

12v refrigerators don't actually use much power once cold. They cool faster and are efficient.

Yes you are correct about that detail but this RV did not have a 12V fridge it was a residential which use far more power then a 12V. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

Awesome review, love the honesty. I really like the dynamax isata 5 28ss explorer. ION batteries and the solar panels is a huge point to me. I do like the nexus rebel 30r too. I want to do a lot of back roads, crown land, winter boondocking. What's the point if the rv doesn't have the ground clearance to do the back roads. I've checked out both manufactures and they do not talk about ground clearance. Any info you or your subscribers can help with would be great.

We went to our inside source to get the most accurate information on this question and we have found out that the clearance is 8" to the bottom of the transfer case. Hope that helps you. Thanks for watching

Yes, Sadly Nexus quality and features and gone way down. Better off waiting for a nice used Showhauler or Renegade to purchase, their quality is still top notch.

It was an interesting one for us for sure. I'm not sure we are cool enough for a 4x4 though! and I don't think you will have to worry about me driving as the that is the last thing Kory could live through, so no worries he'll be driving. Darn, I was hoping to see you guys using climbing gear, or a fork lift with a pallet on the forks so you could hop into the cab on the drivers side. :) That huge hump between the seats may be to make room for the transmission and drive shaft, just a guess, but I can see that being a huge issue for older people that can afford something like this just trying to get in to drive it.

I feel that our model was either rushed at Nexus to be completed or a demo. If I saw the new RV prior to purchasing it and look at this model after some close inspection, I would think it was demo do to the current state. Not happy at all with the quality of the Nexus we purchased and if I had a second chance I would not have bought a Nexus if this is how their RV's are sent to customers. When we did our research, read reviews and watched videos we felt at the time that Nexus took pride in their RV’s but clearly this is not the case. They should have not even sent this RV to Longhaul Trailers in the condition it was. Their slogan should be "Built a Nightmare." My Family still has a new Nexes Viper 25V that is falling apart and only used it once because we're waiting for it to be completed and fixed! We patiently wait!!

Oh no, we are so sad to hear about this. It does seem that some manufacturers are rushing things these days. We don't know what your issues are but yes everything should be functioning and useable when you get a new RV. Did you order it in? Did you get to have an inspection before you took delivery? We are happy to hear they are fixing it but ya these days that takes forever and eats up all of the time you could have been using it. So frustrating! Thanks for sharing your experience and we truly hope your's gets fixed soon and done well.

It is possible unfortunately. These units often go through roads with ice, sand and salt on them on their way to being delivered and well you know how corrosion starts. If this is something found when purchasing, which it could be on any RV especially if they are transported individually instead of on a trailer, ask for it to be rectified as part of the PDI. There is an externally mounted light attached to our camera gear in order to light all of the storage bays and other dark areas when we don't have the option of being plugged into electricity so there is no need to carry a flashlight. It's so much nicer to have a hands free broad light source and we are happy with its effect. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
