Yes it's an FBS mahine like the etrac and ctx...So it's a very good machine for silver items..

Another great video. Recently I've been hunting an old school field. The deepest coins seem to be memorials while the earlier 40's wheaties tend to be rather shallow. Makes you wonder how they got where they were!

what detector you prefer '' etrac or explorer 2..... also did you ever tried a Fisher CZ models....

Explorers are very similar but i prefer the etrac..Etrac has a couple more settings,target id goes to 50 and menu is slightly faster.I think all the FBS machines are the best detectors for silver...Never tried CZ models

Thanks Mike..Today was a mushy hunt but very happy to get another silver out of my elementary school yard..All the silver coins i got there this year i'm sure were laying there when i started detecting back in 1981..I can't see me ever doing better on silver coins than i did this year but i hope i do...

I use some discrimination patterns and 99% of the time digging based on tones and the position of the curser. I bought the Explorer when it first came out. It took me some time to learn where nickels land. Everyone has their preferences some guys run open screen or use iron mask -7 and it works for them.
