Nice hunt! Congrats on the Washington quarter! I drop iffy nickels in muriatic acid for about a minute. Pull them out, rub baking soda with a paper towel, and they come out to where you can ID them. Hit the beach this morning. 6 wheaties, 1929 Buffalo nickel and a broken 10k Men’s class ring from 1962. 5.4gms. Not too bad! Cheers from Bridgeport, Connecticut!

Another good video! I went out this morning for a few. It was a wet mess due to the morning dew. I ran into my first Karen this morning. “Do you need a permit? Make sure you fill in your holes. I don’t know I feel about what you’re doing, it’s opportunistic.” I had to bite by tongue and remain friendly.

You're going to love that T2, it's an awesome machine along with its big brother the f75. One of the most complete machines ever made in my opinion and many others would agree. I don't know if your model has BP mode but that kicks it into another depth level all together if it does. T2 for the score!

@@WeirdGuyInPark you can use sensitivity 99 without any problem if there is no problem with EMI, it is only necessary to perform ground balance to low sensitivity, I have the feeling that setting the sensitivity to 99 will increase the power as if there were some other power boost, but this is just my feeling :-)

The good old 12 to 14 Khz detectors like the T2, Tesoro Vaquero, and even the tesoro golden sabre ( for someone on a budget) with a big enough coils, are simply a good sweet spot for pulling deep old coins, the older 4 - 6.59 Khz were better for coins but, the 12 - 14 Khz offer a better discrimination. TBH since using the newer modern metal detectors, the Legend in my case, i lost the joy and itch for metal detecting, kinda wanna pull my old detectors out just to get me back into the hobby.

Coin roll hunters in the United states HATE Canadain quarters because they see the nickel edge instead of the copper edge and think it's silver Sometimes the nickel coins darken a lot in the ground, get quite the toning

Thanks for reviewing this detector! I was so impressed by your video, that I got one from Amazon at a great price with a coupon. I took it to a local park where I live and found quarters, dimes, nickels, zinc & copper pennies and assorted other things. Most coins I found were 4-6 “ but one quarter was at 8+ . No problem at all with ground minerals or emi ! Really impressive for a less than $200.00 detector! I have more expensive ones ( Etrac, V3i, etc), but this one can definitely find the goodies. Pin point is pretty accurate. My only negative is it does not discriminate zinc very well when notched out ? Not sure why ? But otherwise works great. Thanks for your videos, hope you keep them coming. Dan in Florida

Nice hunt my friend with some cool finds, congrats on the silver ring. I got out Sunday for a few hours and 5-10 minutes into the hunt I pulling a silver Figaro chain. I didn't even hear the chain I was in all metal mode on the Vanquish and was digging everything, pulled a large rusted nut scanned the hole again and it was a few inches away from the nut.
