I saw me in the video at the dogwood festival, Soooooo Cooooooolllllll! Palestine Texas has the best thrift shops and definitely some of the friendliest people who know how to have fun.

Steve Stockton has a great channel about missing persons and mysterious phenomena. He also does a series about the fae and seems to believe they may be involved in many disappearances

That school looks gorgeous from the outside. It's sad that it will be torn down.

If I am not mistaken, that building in the 1960's and 1970's was the Risk Elementary School. I went to that school from 1967-1971...1st through 3rd grade.

@@44carbine I think the old Rusk school was in the westside on the loop. That's where I went to Alternative School in the 90s

Nice video! But if you're going to feature fairies, you should mention the ones at Galveston and Aransas Pass. The one at Lynchburg is kinda small. It only crosses the Ship Channel and you can't even get out of your car. 😉

Great video. I was watching some of your videos of west Texas. I’m wondering if you could do a story on the Chinati Mountains State Natural Area which was supposed to be open by now, but I can’t find any info on it. Thanks for sharing.

I actually mentioned it in one of my videos (The Most Remote Villages of West Texas). I don't think there has been any development there yet. I'd love to explore it though.

I live in Rusk and was born in Palestine . Old town vintage is where my grandmother worked and the Catholic church is where we did my best friends funeral. They rent that old school out for weddings I didn't know it closed.

They just tore the old school down in Crockett Texas also here in the last month or so. Sad to see them go but to bring them up to today’s standards for occupancy would be in the tens of millions of dollars.

Wish I was not as put off by some of these fairy gardens lol. A few are so cool, and well kept / thought out. Some are actually just piles of trash… Parents, your kids toys should stay at home. If they will cry because they can’t leave behind some plastic trash, don’t go into the woods. I’m sorry, but I don’t care about your keepsake chachki. In a Forest, it’s trash. If I go there, which I will soon, I’ll have a trash bag lol.
