I wonder if you can break even, Rob. That's the ideal, if you can make the hobby/passion pay for itself by working the auctions. When I used to collect, I blew my wages on LPs, 45s, & books, week after week, year after year, most weeks visiting 10 Manchester 2nd-hand record shops & 3 stores for new records. A fortune! If I ever do buy another turntable set-up, I won;t go back to buying records: I'll just check out the old LPs I already have here from 30 or 40 years ago. That's enough for me now. But if I was young & collecting now, maybe I'd work the y/t angle with a channel to hold auctions hoping to sell enough records to pay for the ones I collect.

Nice finds, especially the dollar bin deals. The "secretary of funk" (secofunk) was one of the first VC video creators way back like 15 years ago. He always had cool videos.

Hey Rob ...I was just going to hit you up Decibel Music and ask you if you went. Then seen this video HAHA . So glad you had a good time. You found a lot of records and great to hear that the store opening was a success for Van and crew.

Decibel looks like a home run, hope to make it down there. Did you get to meet Vann at all aka SecoFunk?
