In 2009 John Edward Jones got stuck in Nutty Putty Cave in Utah he was only 26 and left behind a pregnant wife and baby daughter. It's a heart wrenching story he lived 28 hours stuck while rescuers spent most of that time with him trying so hard to save him and with him as he took his last breath. The cave is now permently closed as it's his tomb and memorial site.

Something I really appreciate from Jay is his intelligence, like that might sound weird, but i feel like a lot of youtubers dont put much thought into like the deeper stuff. All these stuck in tight spaces/cave stories, the nutty puddy cave, the 13 boys, a little boy that ran away from home and got stuck in a chimney UPSIDE DOWN… I will NEVER EVERRRRRR for the life of me go cave diving or anything that involves small crevices, that doesn’t even sound fun ✌🏽💯, but this game gets scarier and more suspenseful as it goes omg😭

I went camping a few months ago and me and my friends went and explored an unmarked cave in the middle of a litteraly desert and honestly going into a cave is the scariest shit if you have no experience and it isnt one people regularly go too. The reason people take off their clothes during the later stages of hypothermia is because at a last resort your body releases all of the heat left completely in your body at once for a chance of survival making the person hot. This causes them to take off their clothes as they are disoriented and can’t think clearly, lowering their chances at survival because of exposure.

3:16 it was actually 2 1/2 weeks, the cave flooded due to monsoon season in Thailand. The only people that died were two rescuers. All the boys survived, one unfortunately passed away earlier this year from an unrelated head injury. Not entirely related but fun fact: some of the boys were not citizens of any nation due to being from certain tribes not recognized as being part of any nation, which is bad for them for a number of reasons. Thailand ended up giving them citizenship after the event.
