Never get tired of watching the verity of frenzy from copperheads. It is so different from cottonmouths. Got stung in East Texas by a scorpion that was gone before identification. It burned like fire for about 10min then my thumb went numb.

Hope Graham is feeling better after that scorpion! Loved the tons of ringnecks, and the collared lizard was awesome! Also really loved the close up on that final three toed, the pale eyes against the sharp red of the face was almost eerie but at the same time awesome. I know they're less fun than out of shed milks but there's something about them when they're darker but not quite fully blue yet that makes them really pretty to me tho. I guess I like seeing the color variance in milks based on the shed cycle! Glad we got to see a shiny one at the end tho, they are always indeed the best.

Hey I’m a law enforcement park ranger in Missouri and I think a great park to find some Milks and other Snakes would be Taum Sauk State Park. A lot of open rocky glades! Let me know if you are ever in the area!

Excellent presentation! Really good sound control for outdoors, and the insect noise right there should have been estimable. No toads? You had that salamander so there should have been toads. If you find yourself near Springfield, let me introduce you to Alligator snappers, and if we are really lucky, a Painted Softshell Turtle. You don't have Tiger Salamanders on your list either.

Nice milks and collared lizard. Insane numbers of fossorial snakes, almost like millipedes. Fortunately the bark scorpion sting wasn’t serious. I thought that it would be worse. Buthids have quite painful stings though, no matter the danger level.

I went from having a strong dislike for snakes to actually considering looking for people that do this in my area because of your videos. I live 20 miles from a lake that's known for having tons of rattlesnakes. Apparently they will get in your kayak/boat if you're not paying attention.

I just bought a black fat tailed scorpion recently in Maugansville Maryland. They are native to Africa and can kill a human in less than 2 hours. The chances of being stung are very remote because scorpions cannot climb a smooth surface and are very easy to keep contained. If I have to move anything in her terrarium I use tongs. I'm not trying to die a horrible painful death. If scorpions could jump or climb a smooth surface I would never keep them. The tarantula was really awesome. I think that it was Aphonopelma Hentzi.

Is the pain more severe than a yellow jacket sting?
@swayback7375 Жыл бұрын
Yellow jacket has a pretty mellow sting if it only hits you once. Often they get people when you disturb their nests, which might have thousands of individuals in it and they’ll happily nail you many times each! That’s a trip to tge ER, hopefully someone will have an epipen on sight! It’s kind of surprising that each type of stinging critter has the potential to feel quite different, I always though most bumblebee strings burn like fire but with wasps it often feeling more like getting shot with a pellet gun at first then feels like pressure along with pain… Indian wasp is the worst stings I’ve had, I’m pretty careful and there’s not much in my area to sting me compared to lots of places
