Can't help but think Mississippi Stud requires a larger bankroll than Let It Ride would. The latter I can get away with a $100 buy-in for a $5 game. Not so for Mississippi Stud where it feel like a $50 game with how the game is built and all. 😅 Better luck next time!

At my local if the hand is folded then the player is still eligible for the progressive. Hence she should have shown the community cards (even when no one is playing the 3 card bonus) in case it were a 3 of a kind because that pays on the progressive. For that same reason the dealer should be checking the folded hands. I’m just curious if the rules are different there.

What a stupid game. Why not just give the dealer all your money up front and save yourself time. A pair doesn’t win or push unless it’s sixes or better? House game for sure.
