Excellent. Looking forward to your Pickett's Charge reports, inspiration for me to continue building my 28mm day one of Gettysburg forces. Great thing for where you live is inspiration being available with so many battlefields a short drive away (in U.S. terms). I'm sadly in San Antonio. The Gettysburg and Antietam battlefields totally captured my imagination, the Alamo not so much! Glad your figures survived the journey with only minor damage.

Good luck with Pickett's Charge. The rules are very similar, with some changes to take different tactics and units into account, like skirmishers and dismounted cavalry.

We've been playing Pickett's Charge for almost 2 years now, also with the Warlord Epic models. And we use 3 bases per unit, as this looks better to us.

Good to see it made the trip in good condition. I like to play 15mm but I find it hard to watch for some reason.

That ‘some reason’ is probably size. Much harder for a camera to pick up detail in 15mm. I’m pretty sure 20mm has also mostly died as a scale because 28mm shows up so much better on film and video.

Did you have to pay import duty into the States or did you get your army across as ‘personal effects’?

All as personal effects….no problems as long as you are going to take back out ……. And havnt bought them recently…..I think we’re the criteria…
